That's what I'm getting at. If the eyewall speed is 80 mph and the eye wall is over grand isle and Venice. Why are these stations reporting much lower speeds?

Question....I recently moved into a condo off Summa in BR . Does this area usually flood? I checked flood maps and noticed some worrisome stuff. Basically my building is out of it but barley. Debating driving back over there and putting my tv and couch upstairs.

A cat 1 storm doesn't have a pressure of 968 mb. I've been saying the winds must be under-recorded the whole time.

It was my prediction. Called it west of BR and coming in south of Houma. The inland movement through Shreve, though, I didn't call. Have it going through Ruston as you can see.
