Windows on a new build

I don't care how they get to the color black as long as they look good. I honestly don't know the first thing about doors and windows for a house like this.

I sent plans to GC to get a bid. I chose his bid. I went to confirm everything with window guy a couple days ago. He comes back and says that his bid to the GC was for white windows and that to go black it's going to be 50% more.


From my understanding, most door and window guys sell different brands of windows. I want to find an alternative and was hoping I could avoid calling every door and window guy under the sun if I could find out who made a decent black window and sliding door.

I would go back to him and haggle. He will probably come down some. What brand of windows are they?

Call ABC Roofing Supply in Baton Rouge tomorrow and get a price form them. They handle doors and windows in addition to shingles.
