I have no idea and Google is no help. 1,800 sq ft house with cedar plank siding. Just looking for a round about price so I know about what to expect.

ETA: exterior only

I've been told to try a website homewyse.com that can give you estimates on home projects. Perhaps painting is one of the items included.
I think it should give a good ballpark figure, but I can't say for sure.

In Baton Rouge, I just got two quotes. About 1,800 square foot house with stucco and hardie plank. One was around $6,700 and one around $6,000. That does some trim board and corner board replacement.

My house is currently getting repainted. 3100 sft 2 story with tall attic, cypress siding. Single color for the most part outside of the porch and balcony ceilings. $8100 is what I am paying. Replacing some wood rot, re-caulked everything, and the Sherwin Williams paint. I'm in Baton Rouge, tbh I didn't shop around as I thought the price was fair after asking some buddies who had their house painted recently.

I just had half of a 2800 sq ft house (other half is brick), along with all fascia and soffit, along with all of a 1500 sq ft detached garage painted for just under $7500. This included a lot of caulking and prep work and a large amount of fascia repair. The other quote I got was about $1k more.

I’m guessing this was about 100 man hours.

$2-3K here in Houston area for single story ranch in that size range based on what I and my neighbor paid.

My house is about 1900 sq ft and the estimates I received were between $9 - $10.5k. That included porch, fascia, etc.

This is the key.....you can find it if you live in SW Louisiana as well. My BIL had his ~2000 sq ft house done recently for about 2500 I think...same low cost workforce you speak of.
