And how long does it bloom? It is shedding in my pool like crazy and becoming a nuisance to clean everyday.

It's a Chaste Tree and it will bloom all summer long.

Yes, Chaste Tree = Vitex, looks like it might be Shoal Creek Vitex.

I really like the chaste tree. Bad location for you. It will bloom all summer long

Shoal Creek Vitex. Beautiful looking specimen too!

Does it loose it's leaves in the winter?

Vitex, like everyone else said, but that’s the biggest one I’ve ever seen.

Vitex. Just planted one and they’re beautiful.
They bloom several times a year.

That’s a beautiful tree in the last picture.
As a pool owner I have to ask, does it drop into the water constantly?
I’ve pulled back quite a number of nearby trees around my place just to keep their leaves/buds/etc out of the pool.

I have 7 Crepe Myrtles around my pool (other trees as well, but those are the biggest pain, along with my neighbors huge oak).
It's a pain, it's also the main reason why I hire a pool cleaning service.
