What type of tree is this?

And how long does it bloom? It is shedding in my pool like crazy and becoming a nuisance to clean everyday.

It's a Chaste Tree and it will bloom all summer long.

Yes, Chaste Tree = Vitex, looks like it might be Shoal Creek Vitex.

I really like the chaste tree. Bad location for you. It will bloom all summer long

Vitex. Just planted one and they’re beautiful.
They bloom several times a year.

That’s a beautiful tree in the last picture.

As a pool owner I have to ask, does it drop into the water constantly?

I’ve pulled back quite a number of nearby trees around my place just to keep their leaves/buds/etc out of the pool.

I have 7 Crepe Myrtles around my pool (other trees as well, but those are the biggest pain, along with my neighbors huge oak).

It's a pain, it's also the main reason why I hire a pool cleaning service.
