Between 43-48%.

If you are exceeding 55% RH, certainly 60%, maybe time to look at your HVAC. HVAC over-sized? Reduce HVAC air handler blower fan speed to help remove more latent heat (humidity)? Then maybe you have a leaky house? Maybe a combination of factors.

ETA: Thermostat set at 74 F.

I’m almost certain it’s not oversized. It’s a two stage and when it runs it runs for 30min-hour cycles minimum. I think like the guy in another thread my return is undersized. I need to add another return.

As far as the blower fan. I have a variable speed air handler it reduces the speed in single stage for that purpose already.

I highly recommend a dehumidifier. Just makes the house more comfortable. You can keep the thermostat a little higher too as a result.

With just the HVAC running, I cannot get under 61 percent. Still too sticky, and concerned about mold. I need to purchase a dehumifier, and take pressure off the HVAC. House is only 7 years old, so should be fairly tight, but cannot win the humidity battle.

i'm at 45% with 100% outdoor here. My hvac guy suggested i just leave blower running all the time to improve circulation and keep it comfortable all day. we run 73 during day and 69 at night.

79F during the day, 75-76 at night. FL Panhandle. 20yr old house with a wall-o-glass.

Had horrible humidity problems but thanks to Hurricane Michael we had the opportunity to resolve some of the root causes and also installed an UltraAire XT105H...it's been great.

42%. We keep set point at 73DegF. We have a 2-speed compressor and runs most of the day on low speed.

I have a Vremi. Not certain of the model. 1 gallon reservoir that cuts off when full. 1700 sq ft house, wood floors. I leave the bedroom doors open and keep it in the spare room. Collects 1-2 gallons/day this time of year. Not as much in winter.

I think I average 60%. I keep it at 75 during the day and 72 at night.

I'm pretty sure my HVAC is too big though. 4 ton for an 1850 sqft home. I'll have to look into the blower fan speed.

60%. I was told my AC is too big for little house, first time I remember it being this high, I will dig out my dehumidifier.
