They are plenty on my plants, but just hanging out on the fruit
-What are they
-Do I need to get rid of them
-If so, What would you suggest to get rid of them

Those are leaf footed bug nymphs. Definitely get rid of them. They feed on the tomatoes and while you can still eat the fruit, their damage is pretty unsightly. Permethrin will work to get rid of them.

What he said. They puncture the tomatoes much like a mosquito bites us and feeds on the pulp of the tomato, often leaving a discolored spot on the skin.

spritz them with dawn soap/water in a spray bottle

Went and killed about a dozen of them with my fingers then sprayed the tomatoes with dawn. Will see how it goes

You need to spray the bugs with dawn/water mix. Not the plants. It's kind of fun as it kills them in a few seconds. Do it once or twice a day. I would look around your yard too and house and go on a rampage if you want to reduce them.

Those things can get out of hand
I always wondered where they come from since you never see them until you plant tomato plants…

Yep. I'm about to spray my garden with a foam cannon of dawn.

Will fertilome triple action with neem work on those? I have 20 sweet viburnums I planted in April and several plants have those on them.

Use the dawn dish soap, water and spray bottle method. It works.
