This year I have a large amount of this spurge weed popping up, never really had it before. Sprayed celsius on it several times and it is not doing the job. Is there a chemical specifically made to get rid of this or something that you have tried that works. Celsius is supposed to kill it according to the label, but it is not. Thanks

I just spot treated a bunch in my yard with MSM. It's the only post emergent control option listed on the Ag Center page.

Spurge has been the bane of my existence for the past 2 years. Celsius doesn't even touch it. Tried MSM also but that didn't work either.

Just ordered some Blindside and will give that a try this weekend. Supposed to be a pre and post solution.

Think a good pre em program is the best way to manage it. I was a little late on my spring application and I think that put me playing catch up.

Sedge Ender or Weed Free Zone have done the best…. I’ve used Celsius and MSM in the past with mixed results.

I don’t know how/why everyone is having a tough time killing spurge. I spot treat with MSM turf and it knocks it out within a week or two.

Trimec works fine for me but I just spot treat. They’re easier to pull when they’re brown and your hands don’t get near as sticky.

Follow up: Spot sprayed a bunch of spurge last Wednesday with Blindside. Seems to have worked really well, most of the spurge has already shriveled up and died.

Have mostly Bermuda with some centipede mixed in. Didn't affect the Bermuda at all but heavily discolored the centipede.

It wasn't cheap but it worked.

Blindside is great. It should last you a while and kills everything except Dallis

Blindside is basically msm turf with dismiss(sulfentrazone).

Dismiss definitely has a quick action. Most weeds susceptible to it will start to shrivel and brown within a couple of days. Just be careful in the heat because it'll definitely ding your grass.

But it also has good action against nutsedge and green kyllinga.

I'll mix celsisus, certainty and occasionally dismiss and have good effects. Completely nukes doveweed in a couple of days as well.
