Depends
- is the leak at the faucet outlet or around the valve stem (below the handle)?
- is the faucet screwed in or soldered in?
- what level are your DIY skills?
As always, a picture of said faucet and leak would be helpful.

Step 1 buy new faucet.
Step 2 buy Teflon tape.
Step 3. Turn off water at meter.
Step 4 unscrew old faucet.
Step 5 wrap new faucet threads about 2-3 times around with Teflon tape.
Step 6 screw in new faucet snuggly and align it.
Step 7 turn water back on.
Step 8 pay me $100 bucks

As mentioned above, many are soldered in. Someone not paying attention could ruin some copper in the wall assembly....

Mine are soldered, I buy the new faucet and remove the “guts” then shut off water main valve and remove existing faucet guts and replace with new. Has worked perfectly so far.

I had two very old faucets leaking from the handle. I attempted to repair with a washer kit, but that didn't work out too well. Took both off and brought them to B & B Faucet Repair Parts in Baton Rouge. He took a look at them, and said he'd repair them. Took them to back, cleaned them and changed the parts. He said they were so old, they had asbestos parts (maybe packings, don't remember). Only charged $25 for both! Highly recommend him if you are in the BR area.

No way yours are sodered to the cooper ??? They should have a male/female connection to get those off. Or you can buy the stem assembly at any hardware store and do that with a Philips screw driver

9/10 leaky exterior faucets can be fixed with replacing an o ring. If it is leaking from the handle area that is the first thing I would change.
Turn water off, unscrew the screw holding the knob, inspect O ring or just replace it.

Aren’t they on Florida down by Flannery?
If so, I second that emotion. They are THE place to go for repairs and hard to find old stuff.
