I have drooled over the flip trees at Balsam Hill, but settled for one (non-flip) from Grandin Road. It’s pre-lit, lightly flocked, but only 7 1/2’. The shape attracted me because I like enough open spaces for a few bigger ornaments.
It arrived a few days ago so we decided to put it up. Will decorate at a later date.

It’s perfect for our house because we don’t have high ceilings. Other posters mentioned 9’ trees, which this one does come in.
We are pleased, so far.

They have a 9ft Blue Spruce for 749 & free shipping Sale ends tomorrow
They’ll change the name of the sale and keep the same price that day. And the next month. And the month after that. Outside of their clearance section, they rarely have actual sales that aren’t always available.

Lighting configuration is endless with the app.
Only 1 cord at the bottom. The 3 sections are all powered together when they are put together.
Simple shape tips with memory wire. No fluffing needed.

After 21 years finally went the fake route. Now it matches the 5 other trees we have in our house
Went with 12 foot costco. Looked at balsam. No discernible difference. Plus in 5 years if it breaks, just bring it back.

This is the one we just got:
LINK
Have only had it up a few days but so far this is what I like about it so far:
1) Each section is "plugged in" through the center post. No searching for wires and trying to route them through the tree to plug each section in. It's automatically plugged in when you stab each section together.
2) The branches seem to not have that style of bristle that will shed real bad like our last tree. They are more substantial/well made.
3) The thing seemed to just be fluffed on its own. Our last tree we had to go branch by branch bending each piece in a different direction to make it look full. This one everything just seemed to fall right into place on its own.
4) Tons of micro lights that look awesome, we shall see with time how they hold up. Doesn't seem to be any way to replace a bulb if it goes out.

Another vote for Costco. Going in year 3 with our 9ft and it’s awesome.
Weighs a lot…getting it into our elevated storage each year is an effort.

I ordered a National Tree company 7.5 foot pre-lit for $155 on Amazon. It seems be a reputable company and they have a wide variety in pricing. I’m thinking this one might be last year’s model and that’s why it’s so cheap?

I bought a GE from lowes after Christmas a few years ago for 50% off. Still looks the same as 4 years ago. Goes back in the same box it came in every year

We’ve had a Balsam Hill but the wife would flip flop to wanting a real tree some years…well that all ended last year…
Brought home 2 live trees that we discovered were full of bugs 3 days later. Put the Fake tree up in an hour yesterday and all is well

Thats sick as hell man, nice crib.
Got our 9' at "At Home" and I got 2 storage bags from Amazon to keep it in when storing.
Ive never been big on flocked trees, but it quickly grew on me.

At Halloween I have their plastic cat/dog ghosts for my front porch.
This one? For $500!!!!
I’d glue a bunch of Apple trackers and Tile squares to that and still worry about it getting swiped.

$500 for a Halloween decoration is too much imo

That’s the one, but I don’t think that’s what it cost when I got it.
The cat was $200-250, the dog was around $300-350. I pined over it for a while but never pulled the trigger. I did some pretty extensive tech help/work for my in laws, and they graciously gifted it to me to say thanks. They’re very pricy, but they’re extremely well made and should last several seasons (over 4 with the cat and haven’t seen a chip/scratch/fade). I had just never seen anything like them before. I do have a camera on my front porch. I doubt anyone wants my decorations, though.
The only “problem” I’ve ever had was last year during Christmas season, a kid walked by with silly string while his sister begged him to give it back. He wouldn’t give it back, walked into my yard, and said “vandalism” with almost no emotion, and put silly string all over a sleigh/reindeer decoration. It’s on camera. But the little guy did it while I was staring out of the window at him, too.
Also on camera, his dad coming by, making him clean it up, and apologizing on behalf of his son.
