Previous storms I’ve seen them just hanging around like the wind wasn’t bothering them at all. That was TS force though.

Have a few still buzzing around right now. Left the feeders out for them.

Been having a dozen or more daily but only a few are braving the wind and rain in BR. Those little brave farts are filling up right now.

Some are even pausing for a good shower where the rain is running off the eaves/roof. Funny little guys.

I'm covered up with 16-20 birds in BHM. 6 feeders out.

I filled my feeders twice yesterday in Central
Took them down after dark
Got up at 6:15 & put 2 back out
Checked a bit ago & still have about 10 so I went ahead & put other 2 back out

They didn’t mind the rain, every so often a gust would come through & they’d go back to the tree but were right back at the feeders drinking

We had the two juveniles guarding three feeders before the storm. They stayed active until I took them down after dusk. Pretty wild watching them feed with 40 mph gust going on.

Got this morning and put the feeders back up.

We had some nests in our Crape-myrtles this year. I have some giant lantana bushes that I always cut back when the pollinators have slowed down. This year the humming birds and monarchs have been way later than normal.

Ours are favoring one feeder(spot) over the other 5 in a way I have never seen before. It's the feeder itself, as I have moved other ones there and they still go to that spot the most.

I took a 30-second video with my iPhone in slo-mo and it was neat to watch them in hover mode. However, they still move quick as heck in slow motion.

Is there anything to do with bees swarming a feeder?
Maybe 50+ bees on one feeder all of the sudden.

Had 1 feeder and I would always see 1 dominant chasing another off.
Bought a second feeder yesterday and today there were around 10.
Pretty amazed to immediately see such an increase.

It’s nuts
I learned here to somewhat separate them to keep one from chasing others off, it definitely made a difference
I filled them all again this morning & have 15-20 out there

I’d just let them bee.

Likely a queen on the move and hive following her. I had that happen a few years back.
