Metairie. This is my first year putting a feeder up though. So maybe that has something to do with it.

If the current forecast stays the same there will be a lot of hummers heading South. It is forecast now for the low's to be in the upper 50's next week. I don't think we had as many today as other days.

Once they find it they’ll remember your spot next year. I’ve gone from 2 feeders to 8 now.

I finally have multiples feeding in peace. They are favoring one feeder over the others. I have seen similar behavior before, but not to this degree.

Pretty chill at my place too. Seems like the bullies are gone and have a few that are spending a lot of time drinking.

They have been here a few weeks, unfortunately when we leave our garage doors up they get caught in the garage and can’t figure out how to get out.

On several occasions, my wife and I have had to scoop them in a net and let them go

If you have a red handle on the garage door emergency pull rope. The hummers will check out that red handle inside the garage to see if it's a feeder.

Just bumped feeder count to 6. Seems to have made a difference.

We had a lot less hummers today. They must be heading further South.

I've had a pretty noticable drop in activity the last couple days.

My numbers have gone up a bit...not like 2 years ago though.

I’m in Central too
Noticeable drop….refilling my 7 feeders at least twice a day though
I was having to do it 4 times a day
At least the live bugs have slowed down as well

It's the weirdest thing. I have 2 feeders, identical but 1 holds twice as much, in my backyard. Roughly 25 feet apart and in clear sight of each other. They will drain the bigger one 3-4 times before the smaller 1 needs refilling.

I need to get another yard hook...they seem to like them a bit more in the open.

There are at least 15 buzzing around the one right now.

Yes they do. I have two feeders on a flag pole and they drain the feeder at the end twice as fast as the feeder closer to the building.

The 2 I fill the most are on the tallest shepherds hook
I’ve been trying to figure out why they gravitate to those, mine are all pretty close to each other
Half are clear, half are red plastic all the same style

It’s really interesting to watch them

My traffic has been slowing down the past few days...I don't ever get the large numbers that some of you do, but I had 10-12 until Wednesday...today there were 4, so I cut back to 2 feeders...here are some pictures from the past month or so...

I had a lot less hummers yesterday again. I will be taking up one or two of the five feeders today.
