I also have no personal experience with this, but on another forum I used to post on, the foldable trailers got a lot of praise. I think it is a 4'x8', and you could either add a sheet of thicker plywood or run 2"x12"x8' boards to give it the platform. Those guys would use them as a toy hauler for a golf cart or ATV, or to use for hauling building materials. Simply unbolt your platform and fold it up when not being used.

Toolboxes, impact sockets, floor jacks and jack stands are all good to go. I have a corded oscillating tool that's I've had for over 10 years that works great, although I use it pretty infrequently. Also have a corded pole saw that I've abused the hell out of and it keeps on cutting.

Are the big rolling tool chests any good?

Been looking for better organization

I have the Series 3 56" top/bottom/end cabinets. My old box is a Mac. I like the US General box better. The sheet metal is the same gauge and the drawer slides and locks are good enough for the girls I run with. The price was a big selling point as well. I've had the set for a year.

Speaking of these, I need to get a few new lawn tools, and was thinking of going battery powered for how infrequently I would be using them. Hedge trimmer, pole saw, blower etc. What are the good kits or manufacturers that use the same battery? Starting from scratch, so I have no brand loyalty to using the same batteries I already have.

Everything has been good except for the wheeled swing-away trailer jack I got for my boat trailer. Failed after a little more than year (interior gears froze up)

I've bought so much stuff from HF thru the years. Some good some great alot not so good.

Great
Hercules band saw
Hercules angle grinder- I researched these and they are built to the same specs as Milwaukee (band saw) and DeWalt (angle grinder). Not a single issue from either.
McGraw 20 gal air compressor
Air dryer for $19 for compressor

Good
Paint removal pads
Bonny wrench sets
Shop led lights
Quick hitch for tractor

Not so good
The black and orange angle grinder
Welding rods and wire
Pittsburgh hand tools except bonny wrenches.
Combination square
I'm sure there is a lot more in this category but I can't remember.

Ego. I have one of their blowers, and when my Echo trimmer dies I'll replace it with an Ego.

I dont know if you have any cordless tools already or not, but I also have a Dewalt hedge trimmer that uses my drill batteries.

- VIKING 1700 Amp Portable Jump Starter Battery

I'm using it to power a 4500lb electric winch being used as a tree winch. So far so good.

Their 3500W quite Predator generator has actually been very good to me.

I've had numerous different generators over the years but actually had a bad experience with this one and often have people who don't really take great care of them using them.

For cheaper inverter generators, I have 2 WEN generators that even though all the bells and whistles like auto-start stopped working (or literally just fell off) are going strong after 8 years of almost daily use.

Same for the Honda.

That Predator only lasted a year before I sold it for parts.

Maybe I just had a lemon because I'd heard good things about them.

Pancake air compressor

I've had a pretty good experience with mine too. I mostly use it to air up vehicle and dolly tires. I absolutely hate the gas station ones, so it's been worth every penny to me, but I don't need a Dewalt to do that.

Iron. It works fine. Repaired an oil disposal tank and a gas tank on a lawnmower.

I’ve been looking at a steam cleaner from them. Not one of those vacuums, an actual steamer.

I ended up getting the air plastic welder. It runs like garbage and sounds like it’s going to blow up but it did a really good job. Much tighter and cleaner looking weld than my iron.

ETA I already destroyed it

Good:

miter saw (Not sure how, but it works)
fence pliers
clamps
razor blades

Bad:

Good:
Sawzall - bought to cut nails in the fence after Harvey and use it all the time now
Drill press - isn’t fancy, but I don’t use it often enough to pay for a good one
Badlands winch - was concerned about this one, but has bailed me out plenty of times
Zurich auto code reader - paid for itself 10x over
Solar-powered patio lights - 0 hassle, work like a charm.
Icon ratchet wrenches - love these. Saw a YouTube that they aren’t that far behind a Snap-On

Bad:
Every LED flashlight.
Drill bits

When they first opened they sold pure crap but prices were great. They now sale pretty good stuff, perfectly fine for homeowners or hobbyists, and some of their stuff will last in a commercial or industrial setting. The problem is now that their prices are higher than the same stuff on Amazon. It may be a different color but its built to the same specs and in the same facility. I am a HF junkie but I always check amazon before I buy anything I don't need right now.

I think all of their floor jacks are pretty solid. I have a Pittsburgh and a bright orange Daytona. They have been flawless.
