So it was a journey to get here but I’m gonna give ole boy benefit of the doubt that he had some shite going on. When he got here he definitely delivered a quality product and I’m very pleased with the results.
Total was $2400 since I had my own slab already. Took him about a day and a half to build.
You can see the thread on the OT for the drama involved but like I said dude was good to his word in the end and busted his arse to get it built before the storm . Also the price was better than everything else I got quoted for several hundred dollars.

It was just the guy by himself that built it?

Straps it needs hurricane straps go to 84 lumber Lowe’s Home Depot you can get them there may have to pull roof panels off or cut them slid them under the panel not the same then through bolt them

A small holdown from anchor to stud at each corner wouldn’t hurt.

jesus dude, you could have had that exact thing done in an all metal 175 mph rated building installed on your slab for about $1k complete and it would have only taken about 3 hrs max to build it from arriving to driving off
it looks nice though
carolina carports built me a 24ft x 31ft x 10ft high walls garage with two 10ft roll up doors and a walk through door on my existing slab for $7,435 installed price including taxes and the crew showed up and had it completely finishes in 6 hours

well had he used vertical install on the side walls instead or horizontal then the metal sheets would take the place of the need for hurricane straps and serve the same purpose. you only need the straps when the side wall does not reach the full length from sill plate to top plate in one unbroken section
he also needs some hurricane brackets to tie the rafters to the top plate too
its a shame no one told him carolina carports could have given him a better structure thats hurricane proof and built in a few hours at less then half the cost

here is just one picked at random example of 1500 sq ft garage for $1k. LINK
look around and do your own price comparisons. carloina carports usually beats the others pricing but doesnt show pricing on its website. they will send you a quote if you fill out the build sheet on their website

that shed came in a prefab kit? anywhere around here to buy a metal shed kit like that or possibly order online?

Not a kit. MS Baw ordered all the material then came with his trailer loaded up and build on site
