I’m having a couple of my daughters friends pressure wash my house and driveway. Want to be fair in payment. What’s fair in BR these days?

Are they using your pressure washer? I got quoted $600 to do mine but ended up buying a pressure washer and doing it myself.

If they are bringing the washer $20-$30 an hour is good.

Spray the house with Mold Armor EZ House Wash, put 1:1 bleach and water in a pump sprayer and pre rinse your driveway with it. Have them do the driveway.

How big of house? Mine is 4200, 2 stories.

My wife wants to pay them 1000 and I think it’s too much. They brought their own stuff, 2 machines going. Going to take them ~15 hours

I paid a couple neighborhood kids going door to door hustling up prom night money $500 to do all my windows, screens and patio. I wanted to get them to do the entire house but they got weird about it.

if they are bring their own equipment, $25/hr min. Depend on how careful and attention to detail you can bump them up from there. $1000 isn't crazy.

Last year, I paid a guy $250 to do my driveway (huge driveway), brick stairs and brick mailbox. He also did the pre-rinse.

This year, I paid a guy $75 to do my 12x24 deck.

2. 5 days of work at 25 an hour for teens. So 1000 seems about right provided they dont tear your shite up. I wouldnt let two teens loose with a pressure washer on my home. Drives and walkways should be the only thing people let these kids clean. Look, I am 100% for all the kids out doing it, of which we have a ton here in Alex, but I am not entirely certain they have a real idea about what they are messing with

15 hours total ( 7-8 hours with 2 people working) or 15 hours of both of them working so 30 hours? I haven't pressure washed a whole house in a while but I'm not sure why it would take 30 man hours, to be honest it shouldn't take 15 man hours once on site.

I don't have a big house, 2500 ish sq ft and I have a surface cleaner for my driveway.

I usually pre rinse a side with the exterior house wash then lightly pressure wash the whole thing and hit the bad areas hard. This takes me under a day by myself. My driveway that fits about cars takes me 45 mins with a surface cleaner. Its not a professional job but it gets it clean enough.

$75… was it a crackhead?

Most people won’t leave the house for less than $200…

Mine is similar. I'd have to get the numbers but it was somewhere between 600-800. Included doing the driveway/sidewalk and my patio/celing etc. This was last year. I haven't had anybody come out to look this year.
