Someone posted this site a while back with some good ego referb prices. They have an additional 10% off most of it now to the end of the month. I grabbed a 16” saw with battery and charger for under 200 to my door.

I’ve become a fan of the Ego product. I could use that chain saw but wondering if it has the power.

Anyone have experience with it?

I wonder the same but it plays into my plan or products. I picked up a few things some with and some with out batteries to end up with what I want. I have a gas chain saw that I have used a handful of times since Katrina but my plan for this one is to cut firewood in half to fit my solo stove without having to but out my dewalt chop saw every time.

I really just wanted one more 5ah battery but getting this chainsaw deal is cheaper than just a stand alone battery and I get another charger along with the saw.

Have it, and it is awesome. All the power you need. I could not be happier with mine.

What size saws do yall have? I like the size of the 16" I handled in the store...I might have been tempted with the 18" if they had one.

Solid. Bought the 580cfm leaf blower without battery and 16” chainsaw with battery for smaller jobs for which my 20” echo timberwolf is overkill.

$298 for the two to my door. Can’t beat that.

I have the 5 ah battery for the lawnmower and blower. anyone have that battery with a hedge trimmer ? I find it heavy and wonder if that would be an issue with a hedge trimmer

Ditto. Now I have a saw to replace my Stihl that was stolen. It will now pair up with my Ego blower and lawn mower.

Need to drop a dying dogwood out front anyway.

it's freaking awesome. The only negative is you must have 2 hands on it at all times and with my old one I would occasionally swing it wildly with one hand to get to something just out of reach

Ok so ego is protecting me from my dumbass self.

5/5 I love it. The tip doesn't have a blade and I hit the chain link fence 100x this past weekend which is hidden behind a massive overgrowth of ivy and it never once stopped the blade.

I tore my old one up becausw of this but zero problems with the ego.

I don’t find the 5ah too heavy for the string trimmer and edger. I also have a 2.5 and have used both. If anything the extra heft of the 5 helps counterbalance the head of the units. Idk about the hedge trimmer tho.
