I just read that soaking string trimmer line in water keeps it pliable and it won’t break as much. I can’t believe I didn’t know this. Some of the major manufacturers actuallly recommend doing this.

Usually only in sweat when I'm dying halfway through and I run out of string.

Assuming it just dries out each time, do you remove from the spool and soak each time? I'm confused by this

Damn, I wish I still had my sugar kettle goldfish pond. I'd just store my weedeater line in there.

Yes. It helps. Just drop the roll in a bucket of water a few days before youre gonna use it.

Will this help with any size (95) line?

Better yet...once spooled up spray a fair amount of WD40 on the line. You'll appreciate a smoother delivery of line.

I don’t do retarded shite like that. I weed eat for an hour every few weeks and sweat my arse off while giving the neighborhood kids new vocabulary lessons from afar as I fix the broken string eight times.

Like a red blooded American southern man.

I simply dont possess this level of planning.

But damn my Echo head is wearing out and wont work right with more than half a spool. Need to order a new one. Between that and my kid running it wide arse open anytime it is in use, we are eating through string this season.
