Sir, I really like the look of that tub and tile. But the tile layout pattern on that back wall looks odd. The run on that back wall is too short to use the usual “every third (or fourth) row” stagger tile pattern for floors? Which in this case has led to cut-tile lengths that are conspicuously unequal at the corners? I hope you get the leak repaired, and perhaps a chance to rethink the back wall tile pattern. Yes, I know you weren’t asking for a tile critique. My apologies in advance.

That whole setup just looks bad, looks like a piss trough more than a tub.

Being that plumbing is on an exterior wall I wonder if it froze just enough to crack something and it's taken this long to show up.

Apologies, sir. I was about to go on about how he “wrapped” the corners, but then I went back and took a closer look, it appears to be some kind of random install.

This was a reply to Surf or Yak. Mr Clames posted before I came back and hit the reply button.

Wow. I’ve installed these wall mount tub fillers often and have never seen that before! Hope the damage isn’t too bad and glad you caught it early.
