I have a black truck and every one in a while I tape off all moldings and buff with compound then follow up with wax. Otherwise it’s full of swirl marks.
Don’t use automatic car washes and wash by hand instead. If you’re not waxing every three or four washes you’ll see swirl marks too.

You won’t see swirl marks if you wash properly….also use a ceramic coating. I have antimatter blue and it has minimal swirl marks after I compounded and ceramic coated.
To wash use snow foam first then wash with 2 bucket method, then I dry with my leaf blower and a large border less towel

THIS! For any vehicle - not just black ones.

Nothing beats black paint when its clean and shiny. It looks beautiful... for about 10 minutes before wind blows dirt on it, or some water gets on it.
The best way to avoid swirl marks while washing the truck is to use multiple microfiber towels. For example, have a bunch of microfibers in your wash bucket. Use one to wash half the hood. Discard it. Use a fresh one to wash the other half of the hood. Discard it. Do that for every section of the vehicle, so dirt you pulled off one section isn't swirling the next section.
As far as products there are multiple options out there, and most of them bascially do the same thing. That said, this is what I use:
Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow Foam. I use it in my wash bucket and in my foam cannon.
Microfiber towels. I have a few from Chemical Guys and some from House of Rags dot com.
Sonax Spray and Seal (Amazon). This stuff is outstanding as a paint protectant. When you wash each section of the car, spray this on while the section still has soap on it. Rinse it off. It's extremely hydrophobic, makes the paint shiny shiny, and lasts a long time.
Chemical Guys Megalodon Drying Towel
Other products I use:
Meguiars Wheel and Tire Cleaner (AutoZone)
Turtle Wax Acrylic Tire Shine
Turtle Wax Interior Detailer
Chemical Guys New Car Scent.
Stoners Invisible Glass
Once a year, normally in Spring, I'll do a deep clean on my truck. Strip the protectant with Chemical Guys Clean Slate. Chemical decontamination with a liquid claybar. Physical decontamination with a synthetic clay mitt. And so on.

This is what I use, but I was smart enough not to buy a black car. It does a really good job using the two bucket system with a wash mitt.

I forgot to mention, when washing your truck, use straight movement with the wash mitt. Don’t go in circles.

Lots of threads online.
1) No automatic car washes, if you can't hand wash you're better off not touching the car at all.
2) Use the two bucket method and use a separate mitt for the lower part of the car and the wheels.
3) If you can decontaminate and paint correct the car a good ceramic coating will help the car stay cleaner and make it easier to wash and reduce touching the car in the first place and creating swirl marks.

You could fall into an epic rabbit hole with detailing products and techniques
Spend the money and get some decent microfibers, not the 50 pack from HD. Only use ones that you know are 100% clean and were stored away from dirt/dust on paint areas. Wash them separately and dry with no heat.
