This came in yesterday I’m going to spray all my squashes with it when they get a little bigger. Label says to spray every 7 days

My wife had planned on planting her tomato plants on Wednesday, but they are forecasting the temps to be in the mid 30's this weekend.

Just got finished spraying some 30% vinegar for the weeds. We’ll see how well that works. Can’t keep up just pulling the weeds. Here’s some pics from the garden this morning.

These dang cherry tomato plants are already huge and full of tomatoes. My daughter specifically asked for them so I hope she plans on eating a bunch!

Cucumbers haven’t started climbing yet but I think it’s time to thin them to 1 plant per spot.

For some reason my strawberry plants just started withering away one by one. Not really a good crop. I ordered some more plants to fill in the gaps and they’re starting to grow already. I know I probably won’t get any strawberries from them this spring but hopefully I can get them to establish for next spring. Think I’m going to put a 50% shade cloth over them in peak summer to try to prevent them from burning up. How do y’all like my decoy berries?

Hard to show it in pictures but my blueberry bushes are absolutely loaded.

Last but not least, I have watermelons in the middle just starting to grow. And sunflowers in the outer boxes.

dude that looks phenomenal.
do you do anything to acidify the blueberry bed? I need to move mine this winter they are getting shaded out so I was researching what to do at the new bed location, and get a head start on that

Just elemental sulfur. Last year I actually had to add some lime cause the ph dropped a little too low. I send a soil sample to the LSU soil lab every year and make adjustments as needed. And I fertilize every spring with this stuff. Amazon link

My decoy berries work for a few days, then Mr. Mocking Bird figures it out. Probably going to turn my current strawberry area into another asparagus bed since those are super easy and we actually eat it often.

LSU AgCenter posted their vine borer warning yesterday so I went ahead and put up one of my pheromone traps.

I get that every year on multiple plants. I have never gotten a great explanation.

Do they survive or do I need to start over?

They usually survive and even produce ok despite how bad those stalks/stems look.

Lost my hive 2 summers ago. Hive got weak during a drought and the old queen was failing. They attempted a supersedure but it failed and wax moths eventually got a hold. Feeding didn’t seem to help the drought situation. Every spring since I’ve talked with some local beekeepers I know that catch swarms trying to buy one from them, but they haven’t had much luck the past couple of years.

ETA: Eventually I will get another. With my kids getting older and life being so busy all the time I’ve been ok with not having them. I would probably be neglecting them anyway. I do miss having them. And the honey!

Hopefully my wife will plant her pepper and tomato plants next week. It's forecast to get down to the mid 30's tonight.

It’s very dry up here. Sounds like I’m walking on Doritos when I’m turkey hunting.
