Down to 4. My rubythroats will probably be totally gone within a week.

I’ve got two left this morning…south of Ellick.

I haven't seen one in a couple of days here in the 70809.

That’s exactly the way it happens, too. I have one left. I’d hate to know I had to fly across the ocean to survive.

The one holdout has a damaged wing, so it may not survive. There has been a second hummer a few times then they fly South.

Had a couple of Rufus hanging around the house here in TX earlier in the week.

Two as of this morning. Both look to be first year males. No rufous yet.

CenLA - Saturday, 10/4, was the last sighting of hummers

Same here. I went out one day and one dive-bombed me so I refilled three feeders. All nectar gone the next day. Then. Poof. The birds were gone. Maybe one still hanging around.
And I’m stuck with a new full jug of solution.
When is next batch due in Baton Rouge?

I still have my same 3 or 4
I’ve only had a feeder drained once this year, I have 5 up
Hoping the cool front pushes more our way

I am shocked that two of mine are lingering. I have to think this little front will push them out.

In other migration news, looks like heavy passerine flights are being recorded. I have more Redstarts than ever right now. Will be on the lookout for more warblers.

The crowd i had left a week ago but a new one showed up yesterday. Still a few passing through.

First morning of the Fall with no birds. I will drop down to one feeder tomorrow.
Posted on 10/10/25 at 4:34 pm to AlxTgr
Yeah mine are gone. First day in a long time they haven’t been buzzing around and squeaking. See y’all in the spring
