Do acorn squash plants produce pretty prolifically? I left room in my garden for 3 of them but I'm starting to wonder if that's more than what I need.

Garden is officially planted. Now it’s just making sure everything germinates.

Laid down some pine straw today around the transplants.

Also was able to try out my fert injector. It worked great and I’m probably more excited about it than I should be.

It looks like I got all of my measurements and calculations just about right. Cause it came out of the drip line about the same consistency as mixing in the watering can.

I’ve never grown them. But from what I’ve read, yes.

All mine that I covered are toast as well. Luckily my main garden I built a makeshift green house with a 30'x20' tarp and stuck my electric space header inside of it and it kept everything inside above 45F when temps hit 27F here. The 4 tomatoes and 3 peppers that were not inside this area were covered but no luck

If you plan on saving tomato seeds be sure to watch some online videos first. You need to let that gel mold over then wash and dry them out. That gel is what keeps them from sprouting.

green onions from seed survived the frost without being covered.

got two strawberry bushes that will be throwing down a bundle of berries in a week or so.

Do you cover them? Our mocking birds find mine no matter where I put them. Can't tell if the fake berries are having any effect yet.
