Have seen a couple in my front yard flowerbed a few times each day for the past week or two. Had the front flowerbeds redone with a ton of hummingbird friendly plants/flowers. Want to put a small feeder out but not sure yet.

I've only seen two this year, about a month apart. Last year I had multiple all season long. Seems like they never really showed up to my area. (Tara-Baton Rouge)

It’s Top Gun at my house right now. Three feeders in the back and two in the front.

I have four feeders out and there is a constant battle at all of them. It is impossible to count them. Each feeder has a local guarding it. One local is constantly fussing and I told my wife it must be a female.

One buzzed by my face and to the flowers on my porch in Prairieville Saturday. Only one I’ve seen.

Very little & very unusual we usually have a lot.

I think the sugared feeder water is too hot for them to drink?

Up to probably 20+ now. Had to refill my feeders twice today. Also had to catch one that had got inside my metal building and couldn't get out. They're all over and seems like more keep showing up.

8-10 buzzing the tower on the front porch each day, 2 feeders. These dudes are crazy.

Sounds like a lightsaber battle out here

It’s not the best picture. A screenshot from a slow motion video I took at lunch.

From my research, I think it is a juvenile male rufous.

I put out a second feeder this weekend. The male that’s been guarding the first one is now trying to guard them both LOL. Dude is gonna wear himself out soon

the others perch in a tree and wait for him to go back and forth

Most of the traveling birds have flew the coop. It got down to 53 here this morning and only three of the regulars are still here for now guarding their feeders.
