How do you quote a post?

I can't seem to figure this out since there is no quote function button under the post. Can y'all help a brother out?

Highlight the portion you want to quote and either hit the quote button or copy it then press the quote button then paste it in there. The quote button is to the right of the text box.

since the new IOS update this doesnt work any more
you highlight the post, hit the quote button and the quote field pops up empty
under IOS 14 the highlighted text would auto populate the quote field
not anymore
very frustrating for iPhone and iPad users

I made an earlier post about this and Rummy stated, "Hopefully, that gets corrected soon."
It's been almost a month now, so IDK.
I'm sure they have bigger things to worry about, but it sucks because it does fundamentally change how you interact with the site on mobile.
