It seems to me that the NSRC caters to us shift workers. I don't understand what the problem is with having both it doesn't seem to be any overlap of posters from one to the other. I know my opion doesn't count much with my low post count but why can't we all just get along?

I mean that Chicken took some posters and started a thread that others couldn't post in. THey came up with the idea of the lunch thread for a third im thread.
Either way idgaf. I don't see why both threads can't work. Just weird that there are two IM threads.

The LNST and Lunch threads can be a bit click-ish. I've been around for a bit now so I have at least a tiny amount of name recognition, but I don't post in either of those threads because of that.
The NSRC is much more open. I've posted some pretty stupid stuff in there but it could always turn into discussion. Now that I have to wake up at 6 every day I haven't been in there much, but I still don't see why it would matter at such a dead period.

I disagree. All we are doing is talking work with others who are doing the same thing.
There is No Hard-Legging, No fighting, and most importantly No Bull shite in the NSRC.
I for one appreciate the fact that the admins have let us have our own little slice of pie and have not bothered us.

There is nothing at all wrong with the shift workers, night owls, etc having a separate thread. It's not like we all congregate and post porn and dead baby jokes. The usual posters in the NSRC threads are among the most courteous I've seen on this site.
