It was the Early Morning Moral Ambiguity thread. Deep thoughts and all that. It was suggested by some poster, I don't quite remember who, and had a short run. I took the banner and ran with it, and learned a good deal. But it didn't serve anywhere near the number of posters the NSRC does.

My point is that if I felt so inclined that could be discussed in the NSRC and most would at least be open to the discussion. I don't feel it would fly the same way in the LNST.
Again I don't see why it matters all that much.
I see it as 1 of 3 scenarios so far.
1) GTG is stirring the pot just to do so.
2) He and others are genuinely emotionally upset at its existence. Which I really wouldn't understand.
3) It is some sort of pack mentality with the old guard posters wanting to enforce a social structure akin to a wolf pack. (and if this is the case, I fear Owlie could possibly be the Alpha as that crazy old bastard does whatever he wants, seemingly without repercussion)

I fully support the NSRC and I've posted in it before. Good people in the NSRC.
The LNST is too cliquish for me and I just can't understand what the hell people are talking about. On the flip side in the NSRC, there is No Hard-Legging, No fighting, and most importantly No Bull shite in the NSRC.
Only post I've ever made in a LNST is when the OP put in the title, LNST-no lower tiered posters allowed. Google the words in bold and you'll see what I'm talking about. I posted in it just to piss them off. The thread itself is whacked but it still shows up on google. It shows the mentality of the LNSTers. Do I need to say any more?

It was a huge ordeal just getting the Lunch thread approved back in the day. And that was done mainly because there was way too much IMing going on all over the board.
If chicken allows it, it's whatever to me, but I dont really see the point of another IM thread at that time since, by yall own admission, the LNST has slowed to a crawl by the time yall thread starts
Seems like yall can just post in there since no one else is

Also, when was anyone ever made to feel welcome on the OT? Look at when a new poster introduces themselves.
You want to be in the LNST, be in it. They can't force you to stop posting. Getting back to how the OT is, you know they'll chew you up if you back down from anything. Take your "lumps" and keep posting. A few unkind words here in there from strangers and a couple days later it's no big deal.
