do you really want us to fill up the LNST with our talking about work. Hell most of yall are through and gone to bed by 1-1:30 and thats when the NSRC really gets going.

because i'm trying to be helpful, and can see where an admin would ax your thread so helping you come up with a solution. your thread is totally redundant when there is already a LNST going. Which has been in place forever. It's like people who don't take a lunch bread starting a Mid Day We're at Work IM thread. Two aren't necessary.
If the argument is that y'all take over after the LNST goes to bed due to y'all working then start it after that thread has died.

I can't remember it getting axed, Though I'm not in it all the time. A little overlap isn't the end of the world, and it's serving a demographic that wouldn't be posting in the LNST anyway. It usually gets busy after the snackers are asleep. Or would it be better for the shift workers to be posting on some other site?

I'm just recalling the whole deal with starting the lunch tread. A collective sample of people were taken to discuss it. Kind of a mini e big deal.
i doubt admins care too much (cause they're asleep....or drunk. Truth time) about it, but if it gets too much noise I'd come up with a plan b. Like saying you'll start it after 12am/1am/etc

It's always started after 12 am. And if someone starts it before then we make it clear to them that it doesn't start till after midnight, at least.

A collective sample of people posting after midnight and before 5 is gonna be mostly shift workers anyway.
