For those of you who run and workout, do you prefer to do it in the morning to start your day off on the right track, or at the end of the day to unwind, clear your head and blow off some steam?

After work.
I have to be at work for 7-8. I like my sleep so no way I’m waking up one more minute earlier than I have to.

I work out at 530-6 every day.
Not crowded. Home by 7:15ish at the absolute latest.

*try both. See what you like better

First thing.

It gets your day going on a good note and you’re less likely to puss out due to fatigue from work.

Start of day. It's the only part of the day I truly have control over.

I also just feel better and more energetic in the morning. My day feels off if I don't run / go to the gym first.

End of the day. I lift for an hour or so then run 2-3 miles when I'm done. By the time i get home to shower and eat, i'm wiped out and sleep like a drunk baby

Only run early in morning if you can get good sleep. I love running before 6am but will drag arse if I only get 6 or less hours of sleep.

Usually both.

But if I have time for only one or the other, start of the day is preferred.

Depends

I usually work 8-4 or 2-10

8-4 I go after, 2-10 I go at like 9/10am

I will say our gym is crazy packed from 9-11am with old folks doing workout classes. Afternoons are slower

Would much rather morning but I have kids to deal with. 3pm has been what's worked best for me

I run outside for 35-40 min everyday right after work. Then I bring my dog out to a field and throw with him. There’s some pull up bars there that I do some bull ups and crunches in between throwing the frisbee

I want to do my lifting on the morning but I can't make myself get up at 3 am. So I squeeze it in after I put my kids to bed in the evenings

Two kids there’s no way I would be able to go after work. I usually lift in the morning as well as cardio from 5:30 AM to 715.

I prefer working out before work. Get it over with and have more energy during the day.

I hop on the bike around 3:45 am when I do work out before work.

5 am to 5:30 am start time. 5-6 times a week.

Gotta goal to one day drop down into that “Overweight” determination on the BMI chart.

Whatever you do, it's most important to let people know you're working out. And always have an extra large jug of protein shake mix to prove you're serious.
