Okay I can relate. I’m 6’2” and started right around where you’re at and now I’m down to 185 which is where I’ve held myself for over 6 months.
#1 you need to log your food if you are not doing that. Be honest you are only hurting yourself by lying or selectively not inputting everything you eat into it.
Eat a strict Keto macro profile that I detailed above. #1 priority is to keep carbs <20g net daily. #2 priority is to eat 75% fat. And lastly make up the remainder with protein.
You’ll have great results as evidenced by everyone in this thread. Some people in this thread alone have reversed T2 diabetes and fixed their blood pressure issues. This WOE works as long as you put in the effort required.

How should the caloric deficit be calculated? I'd rather eat than fast (obviously), so I don't want to overdo it and get the opposite effects.
Apologies if such a basic concept has already been covered... I looked!

The easiest way to figure that out is on carb manager. It lets you select how much of a deficit you want for example it’ll say 1 pound a week, etc.
Start small at first I would say and increase the deficit as time goes on. A lot of the time people put themselves into 30% or more deficits and then complain how they feel like garbage or the diet sucks.

Went to the Dallas Stars game last night. Stuck to Tito's and water with a lime. Avoided my favorite snacks, nachos and hot dogs, and didn't miss it and had a great time.
Was a little bit bothered by the $12 drinks until I remembered Miller Lites are $9, and I would go through those like water on a hot day.

Way to go!
I put on 5lbs through the Mardi Gras week. I know it’s all bloat. Time to hammer down through lent. I’m hoping to drop 15-20 lbs during lent. I had a ton of compliments from friends and family this week. It’s time to finish off the weight loss!!

So I can just add 75 instead of 50 and still know what you started at?

I had pizza for lunch that was great. Don't feel guilty at all. Been doing keto since January 10. Have not had a cheat day since Jan 26. Didn't have a moment of weakness, just wanted to have pizza. Got meals planned for the next 5 days. I've kind of gone into a plateau so I am hoping the carbs will trigger something when I get back into ketosis to break the plateau.

Really would like some input on my journey please.
I use Carb Manager and find it very useful, did a 72 hour fast to start
My stats are 65, 5'7" started at 205 doing Keto on 2/21. Lost 9.5# the first week to 10 days and nothing since.
Current weight is 195.5
My Macro's 1350 calories, 18g net carbs, 115g fat and 72 g protein.
My averages since 2/21 are as follows:
Period Average 2/21 to 3/12
Calories1344.3 Net Calories1344.3
Total Carbs (g)23.7
Net Carbs (g)13.3
Diabetes Carbs (g)14.7
Fiber (g)7.5 Starch (g)0.2 Sugar (g)5.9 Added Sugar (g)0.0
Protein (g)75
Fat (g)110
Monounsat. Fat (g)13.3
Polyunsat. Fat (g)4.2
Omega-3 Fat (g)0.3
Omega-6 Fat (g)1.5
Saturated Fat (g)30.9
Trans Fat (g)0.8
What can I do to jump start the fat loss again or am I just expecting too much result wise too quickly?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

How much alcohol are you consuming? In my experience, even if I get my macros right, if I am drinking regularly, even if it's keto friendly liquor, my weight loss will stall.

None I don't drink
Also, forgot to mention I am also doing Intermittent Fasting as well, eating window is from 2p-10p. Weekends I don't do the IF though. Macro's stay the same

I'm not a keto expert but
That seems low to me. Doesn't seem near enough calories for someone your size.
Where did you come up with that number? just curious cause it seems at the minimum 500 too low

I'm about to dive in, fam.
I've done Atkins, B4L for long stretches in the past and only ate tuna for a month straight on a dare...
More recently a monitored diet of good carbs isn't enough.
I'll give it a whack.
I'm 248 now, 6'5"ish, I pack a bunch of muscle, my superlean weight is 218...(10% BF)...it's time to drop some girth now that I'm getting older.
I've been a low as 206 as an adult, but I start looking like Christian Bale in that movie...
