Anything overhead for me aggravates mine now.

Any type of overextending. It sucks.

Avoiding painful exercises and wearing one of those tennis elbow braces is what worked for me.

I almost forgot, check out “Bob & Brad” tennis elbow videos on YouTube. They have you rub and massage the tendon and do some stretches. This along with the above cleared it up in a couple of weeks after struggling with it for months.

So I hurt my ankle at work last year, and the doc put me on diclofenac, an anti inflammatory. Luckily for me it really made my elbow tendinitis disappear, so I got the doc to prescribe it full time for me. Twice a day I take it. No more issues with my elbow.

I’d be hesitant to take Diclofenac twice a day full time. That’ll tear a hole in your stomach at some point and wear out your kidneys. Just be cautious.

I had doubts about it for sure, but the NP I consulted with said he had been on it for a long term and hadn’t had any issues. I’ll definitely be cautious. It’s only been about a year, but not even a full year for me.

i had a moderate case about a year ago.

started wearing sleeves and taking collagen supps. helped some.

honestly the thing that did it was just complete rest with no strenuous activity for a month.

make sure you take it easy for bit.

Thanks. Counterforce Brace was a great suggestion. It has really helped with the pain.

The only thing that helped me was, extend arm out straight, rotate fist/wrist one direction until it starts getting tight, reverse and go the other direction. Do as much as you can and even do the arm that’s not hurting. Really helped me!

Had it terrible in both elbows; tried all the aforementioned.

Started using deep thumb massages with hands bent down as you rub deep in painful areas. Totally healed.

Then purchased a massage gun and any signs of pain, I hammer in there and pain free afterwards.

Supposedly rest is best. But I had tennis elbow for a few years after spending a few solid days on a chainsaw. I am 57 now. I started playing tennis and it aggravated the heck out of it. I just messaged it and kept playing and it went away after having it for years. GL

Edit: by kept playing, I mean I played tennis one or two times a week. Did this for a few months and eventually I remember, "hey, it never bothers me anymore."

Had bad elbow pain for a while and tried rest, heat, stretch, etc.

The one thing that healed it entirely was the Riptoe pull-up method. It’s tough but absolutely works.

This is the solution that Pat Flynn suggests for elbow tendonitis.

I had tendonitis in both elbows for months last year into this year. I never could rest them enough to heal and still can't. However, in December last year, I read about and started taking Vitalzym (a Systemic Enzyme) and also Hydrolyzed Collagen (made by Codeage). Not sure which one or both started healing my elbow tendonitis, but after a month both started feeling better. My right elbow is back to normal and my left elbow is about 85% better and still improving. Both of these products are fairly expensive. There is another systemic enzyme called Wobenzym that has good feedback plus several other options for Hydrolized Collagen (just get the brands that have the most types of hydrolized collagen).
