Check your protein shakes as well. Many brands use palm, canola, sunflower, or safflower oils in them. Avoid these and try to buy a cleaner whey isolate. I find vanilla or chocolate don’t often have all that crap it’s usually flavors like cookies and crème, brownie, Froot Loops, strawberry crème etc.
Yeah, it's everywhere. And like I was saying, many of the fancy type Whole Foods products proudly use sun/safflower oil.

And Chipotle openly brags about using rice bran oil on everything (soaking shite in it and cooking in it).

Since sesame oil isn’t on the list, I’m going to assume it’s fine. I can live without the other ones.

You have to really research Olive and Avocado Oil. They are often found to be blended with Toxic Oils.

Came here to inquire about that

I would assume you know of some reliable sources/products where you can get the pure unadulterated product that isn't cut?

Cold pressed extra virgin olive oil in a glass bottle is typically what you want.

Any reliable sources of Avocado oil for higher cook temps?

I picked up some at Sprout's Market (their store brand) and I'm guessing that's probably corrupted somehow

I guess the fool proof way to get around it for cooking fats is to just use tallow and not even concern yourself with what type of plant based oil you're dealing with

I love animal products but just to play devil's advocate. You realize the longest lived and healthiest societies on earth basically don't ingest any animal products? Its not debatable

Everything I've read said that a strict vegetarian diet was marginally impactful towards overall health and that exercise was FAR more critical.

There’s not any societies in the human kingdom that have thrived on this earth without eating some form of animal foods.

Also, there is a group on the book of face called “LMHR” lean mass hyper responder. There is a ton of medical data being shared in there of individuals with LDL > 200 • HDL > 80 • TG < 70.

Some of those guys are shredded

The staple foods in a traditional Okinawan diet are (2Trusted Source):

You may want to look into who traditionally lived the longest, and the Okinawan Diet.

Vegetables (58–60%): sweet potato (orange and purple), seaweed, kelp, bamboo shoots, daikon radish, bitter melon, cabbage, carrots, Chinese okra, pumpkin, and green papaya
Grains (33%): millet, wheat, rice, and noodles
Soy foods (5%): tofu, miso, natto, and edamame
Meat and seafood (1–2%): mostly white fish, seafood, and occasional pork — all cuts, including organs
Other (1%): alcohol, tea, spices, and dashi (broth)

They probably weren't ingesting processed seed oils either

Which societies are you referring to as the longest lived and healthiest societies? I'd like to read up more about this.

Yet all of that is mostly homegrown in their island without the need for glyphosates.

People can survive on vegetables with some meat just like others can with primarily meat. It all comes down to how it’s cultivated, the less gmo’s and more regenerative agriculture the better the soil. The better the soil, the better we are

I don't think your claim is true in the first place. But even if they are, those are outliers. The vast majority of humans who ever lived, thrived on diets heavy in animal products and featuring literally zero seed oils or cheap carbs.

Avocado oil has a really high smoke point, 500 degrees iirc.

Costco olive oil/evoo and the Chosen Foods avocado oil are legit and not mixes. We buy those in bulk from costco.

Ah, yes, the ole vegan trope of Okinawans having "plant-based" diets. You should visit there sometime, nolaks. You'd be surprised at how much pork and seafood they eat.

The only thing at Chipotle not soaked in that crap is the Barbacoa meat. They even soak the fajita veggies in it which is absolutely pointless.

Genetics, lifestyle, religious purpose, community, work, & family all play just as an important role in longevity as diet. Most communities listed in highest life expectancy list have high scores across everything not just clean diet/food.

Animal products like beef and bison are more nutrient dense than anything you can get from a plant. The way it’s raised, killed, and prepared make all the difference.

There is a huge difference between a grass fed and finished cow and the meat they give you in a Big Mac patty.
