Been 8 years since I last did this program, or anything like this program.

I'm incorporating a bit of a Hybrid to this routine, on weight training days, I'm adding 20-30 minutes of HIIT cardio.

Day 1: Chest and Back + Ab Ripper X

Neither my push ups nor my pull ups are close to where I want them to be, did every set to failure and I'm feeling it today. Ab Ripper, I fricking hate it, but I love it

Day 2 (Today): Plyo

Holy shite, my legs are fricking wrecked. Got through the whole thing without modifying.

Arms and shoulders tomorrow.

Who else has been through this program?

I did most of it years ago. I got hit with the flu half way in and quit. There was a mega thread on it years ago. You still may be able to search and find it.

I would do P90X, but that’s pain and suffering I’m jus not willing to endure.

I have, but I do the P90X3 program now. At least some of it. I can't do the Agility, Eccentric Lower, or the MMX routines currently as my back will act up. I need to get back to the Ab Ripper X, but it is brutal. Right now, I rotate between Yoga X, Incinerator, and Eccentric Upper. I may try the Isometric disk or Advanced Yoga as I call it.

Getting older sucks.

I did MMX last week, just browsing through the beachbody on demand library. It's pretty intense, but it was fun.

Ab Ripper absolutely killed me. I gotta do this 3x a week????

Not looking forward to Yoga X on Saturday, I remember hating it and I haven't done Yoga in years.

German potato soup.

That's all I've got.

I did P90x and Insanity and was in the best shape of my life. Maybe I'll restart as well.

I would like to do the original p90x again because it’s more weights based to build muscle but with time restrictions it’s hard to do a long workout nearly every day. Sticking to p90x3 and Liift4 right now because of the 30 min workouts.

I was in the middle of Insanity when I suffered a severe back injury, (not from the workout, slipped on some ice while moving a TV at the top of a staircase, fell all the way down the flight of stairs. ) Put me out of commission completely for almost 3 months, was barely walking.

That's when I went on a 6 year hiatus, no exercise and piss poor diet.

Finally got back to it about 14 months ago, eating right, started going for walks, then runs, then cycle, and started strength training again about 4 months ago.

I'll do Insanity again, probably after I finish this 90 days. It was.....Insane

Does Lift 4 include cardio?

It has hiit workouts integrated. It’s either first half weights and second half cardio and abs or circuits. Still some cardio but not as killer as p90x3 which is good because I’m not really trying to lose weight.

This thread inspired me. I had hit somewhat of a lull in my workouts and this is exactly what I needed.

Shoulders and arms lastnight. I’m cooked.
