Yeah, I'm not getting on a scale in the afternoon.

Down 9lbs after 3 full days. I know there is lot of water loss in there, but I would think there's at least a couple pounds of fat gone

Day 5. Gained 3/4 pounds since yesterday morning. Can't tell if water or not.

Total loss: 4.2- 5.2lbs since Sunday. Varying because of home scale vs gym scale.

prolly. i went up yesterday and now am back down to the 185 range.

Best thing to do mentally is just realize that it take an extra 3500 cals to gain fat, if you are only taking in less than 1500, its not possible to gain any fat no matter what. it has to be water.

I'm a bit of a fatass right now at about 26% BF. I'm sure the first three days were a total shock to the system. I won't step on the scales again until NEXT Thursday morning. The daily fluctuations might mess with my head. The Thursday morning weigh-ins probably sound weird, but I guess that's my "rally possum". Eight years ago (40th birthday), I went on a mission and lost a little over a hundred pounds. For whatever reason, I started on a Thursday morning and that has been my official weigh-in day ever since.

I have no doubt it's water. I'm sure I am fluctuating because I haven't worked out since Sunday. I don't want to refeed tomorrow but I know I need to.

To get back to RFL support, I tend to get a sweet tooth after all this protein and boring stuff. I cure this with an ice cold diet root beer at the end of the night. I never was a root beer fan, but after a few days of chicken and greens, it tastes like heaven.

no doubt, I am about to have to do something.

I thought I was having crawfish yesterday but it turned out to be today. gonna fast until 3 then destroy them. Sure I am going to be up quite a bit of water but I dont give a frick.

I lift tonight and am going to have a bad arse pump from all the sodium.

Down almost another full pound today 182.0 to 181.1.

Kids had pizza last night...almost jumped out of the 2nd floor window.

Scheduled for a free meal since yesterday, but psychologically im ok right now. Going to keep going without it.

I know in the book it says not to go too hard in the gym on the diet(Category 1 for me), but I can't help but do my usual routine. Its not terribly heavy lifting but it is somewhat and I have been going 6 days a week. Would this really stunt the fat loss?

if you only do the 11-12 days, no. If you run longer, then yea.

And yea you say all that shite now, after its been 8 days or so we shall see if you actually even feel like going to the gym or even getting off the couch.

Jesus the crawfish were good and all but I got the damn meat sweats now. Didn't eat as much as I thought I would just because it's so hot outside.

Evenings have been toughest for me. I keep myself pretty busy at work, and workout at lunchtime.

Sitting in bed thinking about all the crap that's in the pantry for the kids gives me fits. But it's for a good cause, I'm easily in the best shape I've been in since high school.

Same here. At work I can go without eating half the day and still feel like I have energy.

After dinner I feel slightly hungry but goes away I just hate going to sleep hungry though.

Same here although I'll say early college cause I was a lot stronger.

Yea my strength is down a little too, well mainly muscle endurance. I can hit the same weights and reps on one set but not after.

I fell asleep on the couch, woke up at 830, went and lifted and just finished. I am dead. Gonna sleep good tonight.
