Welcome to the thread where we try ( ) to support one another!

No real updates. Still meat, still progressing on lifts. Im thinking of resting a bit on the lift in a couple of weeks to reset. By resting I mean keep the weights the same and lift once or twice a week instead of 3-4. It is getting close to the 12 weeks on GSLP and work is nuts with 12 hr days and it wont let up anytime soon.

I've been progressing on my own terms and pushing the weight up only when I feel I can. This is usually every time on the next lift. However, I've purposely kept weights the same on different lifts. No real goals other than getting stronger until the end of the year as I have zero lifting experience. We'll see then. The microweights have been great.

Fasting until 6pm or so today.

Probably go for a nice 45 minute walk later. Had a sty removed from my eye on Tuesday. Scared to strain and frick anything up. Might wait until Saturday to lift again.

Gained back a little of the weight since the holidays and football season ended, but nothing too bad. Went to 215 from 210. The good things is that I’m already sinching my belt to where it was at 210, so I’m back on track. Still working at it everyday. I didn’t go out to eat once this week. I had crawfish on Tuesday. My girlfriend and I were celebrating 3 years together. Surprisingly, crawfish is low in calories. So no real damage done. Onward!

Just took measurements with that Styku machine at the gym.

6’5
207 (scale next to it said 210)
22.3% BF

Haven’t been tracking my weight or food the last 4-5 months. But the reduction of binges must’ve helped a ton as I’ve been 215-230 the last 3 years or so. Still looking fat though.

I've been stalled at around an average of 262 since mid Feb. I think I need to drop my calories, but I also know that if I'm being 100% honest with myself I haven't been as accurate as I can be with my tracking. A bite or two of meat while meal prepping here, a little snack there, a nibble here... seems like not much but adds up. I need to re-focus my tracking and eating to ensure I'm not overeating. I'm on a maintenance week this week because I planned around Mardi Gras, then next week is fat loss, then the next week is a vacation weekend so I'm planning another maintenance week.. then it's time to hit it hard again. My goal is to get to 255 before 18 weeks passes. That means I need to lose 7 more pounds by May 4th. I'll have to do a long run of deficit with no maintenance to get there since I've taken some liberty with additional maintenance weeks for convenience.

20 pounds down in 60 days! I am now officially back to my pre flood weight. Problem is - that is still overweight. I still have a long way to go.

Hulkk you still using MyFitnessPal

I’m going to try a 1690 cal/day and start stationary for 23 mins/ day x 4/week at least and add minute a week along with Pallof press for abdominal core work since rotator cuff and nerve injury killed lifting

Diet is School Lunch, whatever the students get
PBJ or Turkey on Wonder Bread for dinner with Water or Skim Milk.
Breakfast will be most likely bananas or cuties. Possibly will make smoothies

Sunday will be a cheat day for breakfast

No cokes
No fast food
No sweets unless I’m in crazy rush

Today on the stationary I went 5.2 in 23 minutes. I know it’s not blazing or long distance. But just getting my legs under me and my cardio back I’m pleased.

Still meat. Pork came into my diet a bit more this month. I've got another cow coming in the next month so I need to clear out some of the older beef/venison in our freezer. Maintenance mood on lifts for the next week. I only hit 3 reps on each lift at weight from the last LP to keep up the movement. I'll start back when I have more time to lift and cook more food.

Yep.

Same handle.

My weight jumped up from 262 to 267 over the last maintenance week ... I assume I was in a slight surplus if I put that much bloat back on. This week I aim to average 2k cals/day.. we'll see how that does, hopefully by the end of the week I'm back to 262 or lower.

I knowingly wrecked myself during Mardi Gras. I wanted beer, fried chicken, and King Cake. frick it. You go to live.

I bloated up 5lbs. It's all gone again. Back on the keto and exercise train.

I’m back on there I think you may be only one I follow on there.

I just need accountability and I know people don’t “like” my workouts or diets but works for me

In April I’ll start back with this

M/Th
Shoulder Warm
3/15 Cable Row
3/15 Lat Pulldown
3/15 Chest Fly Machine
3/12 Dumbbell Press
4/15 Curl
4/15 Rope Extensions
3/20 TBar Leg Raise
4/8 Paloff
Bike

Tues/F
3/15 Leg Press
3/20 Lunge
3/15 Leg Extension
5/20 Hip Abduction
3/30 Calf Raises
3/20 Crunches
3/20 TBar Leg Raise
4/8 Paloff
Bike

I really blew my shoulder and nerve issues so let’s hope this works

The Shoulder Warm is just some Tube work like a pitcher

This thread is more of a "no judgement zone", or as close as we can be. Do what works and get results!

Walked 1.15 miles on treadmill on a recovery day

Went over on calories by 100 but the exercise may taken me to goal.

Went on a weekend beach trip. It was cold and rainy in Pensacola so we went to visit a brewery and walked around downtown for a while. didn't have my best weekend of eating, with the travel and worrying about a baby. I made a point to track everything as closely as possible and to not go over my goals, and actually did pretty well in that regard. I had a couple of dinners that were strictly protein shakes but I met my macros pretty well and weighed in this morning back home at 261. We'll see what the rest of the week brings, but that is promising. Six weeks to lose 6 lbs to hit my goal of 255.

I don't know how tall you are, but at 6'3" 255 is when peoples started to comment that I looked better. I guess it's in my face. Good luck baw!

I'm hovering at ~ 245. I need to get through the next 2 weeks of birthdays and weddings. This is killing my weight loss. I'm good all week and eating wise good on the weekends, there is just too much alcohol consumption going on.

I'm about 6'2. I have taken some progress pics and I do see changes.

255 is just the closest goal - overall I want to get to 220 or 210.
