I have a huge stack of papers on my counter in my garage. They are all paper clipped separately.

I do it in notes app. Most of the days each week are sorta similar so I’ll tweak it each week for specific reps and percents

I need to start getting more organized with these workouts. I need to track my weights.

then prolly a lower volume program like 21 to party

How do you know which program to go to? I assumed 21 to party was pretty tough.

I just did Strongville as my first PPSA and really liked it. I’m on week 4 and am def gassed-ish but still feeling good! Is 21 to party what you’d recommend going to next?

I’d say I’m an above average lifter. Been lifting off and on probably for 20 years since high school and really focused on a pretty rigid program for about the last 2 years, if that helps.

TIA!

I went from Strongville to 21 to party just because I wanted a less intense regimen. And I am happy with the decision. Still a solid program but less intense.

really depends on goals and if you are feeling beat up or not.

i would imagine you being an older guy like many of us, a 3day(not turnt up) or a lighter 4 day program would be the way to go

but depends on goals, what are they right now?

strongville is prolly the 4th hardest program not

1) s&JTH
2) periodic table
3) new brick house
4) strongville

let us know your current goals

I really wish PPSA would incorporate some actual cardio stuff. I like the direction he is going with the amrap stuff in some of his most recent programs.

I would add my own stuff into it but by the time I finish the work from the program I'm usually at 90 minutes.

I will say that with just deadcember and strongville I managed to drop my mile time from Thanksgiving to last weekend. I view that as improving cardio from squats and deads, translated to a little better mile.

As soon as my sandbags come in I’m about to add in some finishers (slowly add in) from Brian alsruhe. It’s only 10 mins more and I guarantee it will improve conditioning

It’s on thing when my staff calls me old, but it’s another thing when my gym bros call me old at 35 sir ha!

Pure brute strength gains in the core lifts: squats, bench, OH press, and deadlifts. I’ve always been on the thin side and I guess blessed with decent physique genes so I’ve always had the ripped but skinny look. I’ve hovered around 170 at 6’1 my entire life.

This past year or so is the first time I’ve truly committed to getting stronger, not bitching out and saying I can’t bc I’m skinny but lifting regularly and stuffing my face to get the calories I need. I’m at 180 now and feeling stronger than I’ve ever felt.

I want to keep on this. I know at some point I’ll need to do a program that has maybe a bit less heavy emphasis, but right now I’m hooked and committed. I’m really hoping to hit some major squat and bench milestones this year but squats more than anything.

Appreciate the help!

Then choose one of b the following

Hypertrophy
Pool season
The mullet

Run one of those and then I would suggest either arm farm or pump city(3day) or 21 to party

Then pick between the other two you didn’t choose or periodic table of thickness or stacked and jacked

W1D3 of 21 to party

21x5 on curls was a doozy. Dropped the weight a few pounds around set 17.

I did more ab roll outs after and my abs felt like they did on the first week of Deadcember

That first day we did them they were super easy. No problem. Then they hurt so bad for the next week and a half I couldn’t do more than 5.
