W3D5 Jacked Up Joker

Another fairly quick day at 75min. Nice solid day; nothing too easy or too hard. I pulled several of his Instagram workouts and think I may do one or 2 of the smaller ones this weekend. Looking at ones called 'No Squat Exempt' and 'Flex Friday'.

I was going to start arm farm on March 26th when I get back from vacation. I need a break from squatting 3 days a week. It’s getting stale. Should be interesting considering how much I hate bicep work

Are those 5 day a week programs generally shorter everyday? I know the 4 day a week programs are around 1.5/2 hours

Only 5 day/week program I've done is Jacked Up Joker. It's typically 1:15 - 1:30 long.

arm farm

I did arm Farm back in November and I pout on my sports coat first weekend in December for Christmas party and it didn't fit in the shoulders/arms. I loved that program

I didn’t find Big Bench for Christmas to be any shorter than the 4 day programs: 75-90 mins if you get after it.

I’ve run it twice and might run it again after next months program. It’s my favorite I think.

Just finished W4 of grasshopper, I’m ready for the 4 day workouts.

Y’all got me all conflicted on which one I should run next. They all sound good

Front-squatober done day 10 see saw.

Loved the see saw idea I've never done that. Took about 55min total and front squats are really firing up my core and quads.

As for ppsa times. Strongville was like 90+ min for me consistently it was the only thing I ddnt like. Superset was more like 80min on average. Deadcember and squatober at 50 to 70min

How was the time on his Db program?

I ran Oak Tree as a 3 day. Then went into grasshopper and finished it last week. I’m on W1D4 of pool season. About to step outside and get my pump on for day 4.

Workout 2 Sport Strength.
This one is 36 workouts. Not crazy intense so far; just right after being off for nearly 2 months.

I just hit W3D4 of Mass that Lasts. Loving the percentage based lifts off of 1RM. I will hit Arm Farm next, then probably Mass That Lasts again, hopefully off of increased 1RM.

Okay I did bench press to chin-ups and then dragged bench forward for shoulder press and finished with heavy 1arm db rows instead of bb rows. Worked out fine and was a hell of a circuit.

//edit: that arms superset is something else!

Yeah, almost every day is a long workout. Also, it might just be me, but the fatigue really adds up with Strongville. It’s far more demanding than arm farm, Christmas bench, or squatober.

Pump city day 10 (amrap bench) got 15@75% and then could stay at normal weights for everything else. I don’t think running the st Patrick’s day workout on my rest day yesterday messed me up.

Ended up getting carried away with the vegetable garden today and didn’t make it to the gym.

I'm running superset next. Want to run a MWF schedule for a bit to free up some family time.

I did W4D1 of this today. Hit DL, squats, and bench every workout, just cycles which one is heavy and which is volume. Workouts take me about 90 minutes doing the warmup and cardio. Feeling strong but wiped (which I guess is common with PPSA)

Did extended seesaw yesterday and frozen bottom today. Next up will be the pressure cooker 2 on Tuesday.

Added some ab wheels, dips and chins for good measure.

I'll run this again before the fall it's my favorite program so far.
