Without knowing how many days you want to train, one of my favorites is Pool Season 1. Upper body focus, squatting twice a week, and deadlifting once.

The best results I’ve ever gotten (outside Sheiko) for SBD numbers is still Brickhouse. I just can’t commit to 5 days a week at the age my kids are right now.

Last week of PS1 then going straight into Oak Tree next week for bulking season. Was one of the first programs i ever ran and havent revisited it since. Will probably make it a 3 day a week program since the holidays are coming up and will be super busy.

I am doing Squatober for the first time and that led me to find PPSA. Not sure where I should start with his programs. I would say I am an intermediate in the gym. My goals are to get my SBD all up. Bench is the weakest area for my. Right now my training maxes are 330 squat (pretty conservative for first squatober) 195 bench, and 375 dead. I would like to add size to upper body as well as it lacks behind lower body. Any help would be appriciated!

pick one of the 4 day bench programs he has then. that will help you maintain the others while raising bench

or you could run grasshopper first. but where you are...something like benchamin franklin 1 & 2 and then run benchuary in January and you should add a good bit to your overall numbers.

I usually like to train 4 days per week. I think that I will start with a Benchamin then and then do Benchuary. I appreciate the responses. Look forward to running some PPSA programs as it seems like everyone enjoys them!

I really enjoyed benchamin but I’m pretty sure that’s how I finished off my rotator cuff and have surgery scheduled

100% my fault though. Ortho initially told me it was just arthritis pain so I kept pushing through. Well apparently the pain was the supraspinatus tear that progressed rapidly over the year.

Question for squatober, I missed today’s work out. Would it be better to do it tomorrow or make up for it on Saturday?

Well that doesn't give me confidence! Hopefully your surgery goes well and you are back at it quickly! I should probably to go the physio for a wrist issue I am having before I need surgery!

About halfway through Oak Tree and I’m loving it.

I’ve trained functional fitness/crossfit and endurance for the past 5 years, so I’m really enjoying a no nonsense strength program.

Thanks to this thread for the motivation to try something new!

This is basically where I was a couple of months ago. Upper body always lagged compared to lower body. I ran two cycles of FOTH. My bench jumped from 200 to 235. I’m also eating in a surplus, so that helps.

I have 1 more week of FOTH and then plan to jump over to Hypertrophy and run that through the end of the year.

I'm going to try this one starting in January when I'm cleared.

I'm pretty sure I mindlessly purchased it with Shop and it has my old card info on it. So...Aaron, if you are reading this, I'll fix it if needed.

Maybe I will run FOTH then. To many choices of what seems like too many good programs!
