and I can say, sticking with a goal isn't easy... but with a friend of mine on board, it's now a daily challenge and with Jan done, it's now on for Feb!

Lost 4lbs on my no bread/sweets goal for the month. Initially it was going to encompass all carbs, but that was hard to do when I just got a sweet pasta extruder for Christmas.

I also lost about 4 lbs in January; about 5 more and i'll be at a pretty good weight.

I'm eating better, drastically reduced alcohol consumption and working out between 5 and 7 times per week with a mixture of running, boot camps, yoga and hitting the gym (5x per week) for the first time in forever.

My clothes fit way better; gonna be ripped by the 4th of july.

2021 starting off great!
Finished the year by ending my cutting session and now time to get ripped. Took a bit to get used to the high calories and changing my diet but going swimmingly so far.

On the same plan and lost 6 lbs. I've stopped drinking beer and that's killing me.

Goal for January: cut out alcohol.

Goal for February: cut out sugar.

i don’t miss it as much as I thought I would. I don’t think I had a beer the entire month of January.

1.5 oz of bourbon is the only drink I’m allowing myself. Plus the occasional glass of wine on a date with the wife. I was at 3-5 drinks per night during the week and then maybe 5-7 per day on weekends. Replaced that with 1 drink per night during the week and 2 on the weekend.

This is the cleanest I’ve lived in forever.

Down 16lbs since implementing dry January and cutting out sugar & carbs.

Going to reward myself with a beer or two this weekend then hop back on the wagon for another 30 days.

Down 5 lbs for January from 188 to 183. Shooting for around 160-165, but more concerned about how I look versus what the scale days. Also matched my PR on deadlift of 365 lbs. Not eating much sucks but one more week of being strict then having a nice date night dinner Saturday. Then will go back strict for 3 weeks. I'm shooting to lose 4 lbs for the month of February.

I was going to weigh myself - but the scale broke

Is that a bad sign?

Anyway - I’ve been keeping up with working out 6 days a week - so hopefully Feb will look the same

203 to 188 for me. That was from the last week of Jan to yesterday. So closer to 5.5 weeks.

Ooops... should read last week of Dec.
