Will do. What are your initials on Strava?

I'll need to get in 11-12 Saturday am, but will most likely need to stay local. We have a party to go to Sat mid day, so I'll need to check on the timing of everything. Will let you know if I can get out that way though.

I actually saw where VS Mandeville is coordinating an 11 mile training run on Saturday am starting from the Mandeville Trail Head. 6 am. That looks inticing and like you said, would give me a chance to check out a portion of the course also.

Initials are NB. Varsity Sports is only a block or two down. I believe they organize such a run once or twice a month. I inadvertently participated a couple of time by running at the same place at the same time. Good men and women in that group. Fast men and women in that group.

Got it.

I'm sure there are! I'm not a huge fan of running with a group of strangers unless it's an actual race.... unless of course the talent is there.

I just registered for the Tiger 10K December 2nd at LSU. Our son is due 11/05, so hopefully things are settled down by then and I can break away for a portion of the morning. If not, I'll consider the $60 donated.

Yep, we started late. I'm 37, she's 38. Exciting stuff!

A 10k will be doable especially if you have experience running but man. The first month with a newborn especially your first is crazy.

Sunday participated in a local 10k fun run. Guys with GPS were stating it was more like 6.5 to 6.6 miles. Still a little warm and muggy here.

Monday upper body
Today was an easy 6-er.

Definitely a bit of naivety with my registering, but if it’s too hectic I’ll just skip it. Training has been going great, but it’ll get turned on it’s head here pretty soon. Bring it!

Where did the no humidity and 65 degree weather go?

5 miles this afternoon at a 8:36 pace in devastating humidity/heat.

I did a KG6 and just got in the shower fully clothed afterwards.

Definitely didn’t help my lack of motivation right now.

It’s absurd. Latest prediction is mid October here before we get any relief.

The last few weeks were an anomaly. Have to remind myself of that.

I ran a half marathon last November in almost 80 degrees. It will come and it will be glorious.

It's in Wisconsin or Vermont now.
Maybe by November around here at the rates things are going.

Went to Emory Sport Medicine Complex yesterday. Badass facility very close to my house. It isn't on the main campus, but ez drive and parking. I would seriously just go hang out there and work and drink free coffee. You can watch/stalk Hawks and Falcons players too. (There's a full Hawks training facility there.)

I almost wore my Saints shirt but thought better of it.

Diagnosis: Tibialis posterior tendinitis. Rx: PT (at same facility), arch supoort, cushiony shoes (got the super cushion Altras so I can run in them when I'm healed), rest and ice.

No arthritis or bone issues at all, so I should start back running in a few weeks. In time for true fall. It's gonna be pool, bike, rings, and heavy things until then.

Run some miles for me y'all!

6 at 10:15 race pace. Overslept and needed 8 but I’ll take the 6.

900 feet elevation gain.

8.25 @ 8:49/mi. Was only planning on putting in 10K, but damn my legs felt fresh. Have to put in the miles when the body gives you the green light.

That's good news Mac. Did they put you on a treadmill in PT to see if there was some undesirable movements involved in your running motion?

Are you referring to the Altra Duos or the Paradigms?
