7 miles at 6:45-6:50 pace this morning. Cool temps helped. Think I’m right where I need to be.

Same workout (marathon “tempos”) as you did yesterday today. 3 up 9 @ 5:50s 3 down.

Survived my ultra, barely. 50k trail in 5hrs 51 minutes. I hit a wall the last 6 miles and cramped bad.

I just started again after taking the first six months of the year off. Did a 20 mile week of easy runs at 9 min pace. Going to try to build up slowly to 40 mpw before I consider adding any tempo.

15 miles today to hit 50.0 for the week up in Oregon. Rest day tomorrow, think my body is ready for it.

Got 3 miles in today trying to build up to my first 8k in September. It was HOT but I’m hoping that putting the work in with this heat will pay off come race time.

Are any of y’all going to the LSU v UCLA game? I’ll need to get in a half at marathon pace if anyone wants to run.

Got in 5 miles at 9:10/mi after work. HR averaged 147 which is pretty wild for me. I typically have a hard time keeping it under 160 even on easy runs (which I don’t do enough of). Felt good to not be absolutely beat after a run…maybe there’s something to this

Little over 7 miles in Bend, OR this morning. Favorite run and town of this trip so far. Could see myself living here.

Not much, but I've been able to run 4 times in the past week after not being able to do much of anything at all for over 18 months. Sustained a pretty bad back injury, and did not want surgery.

First run, I died at 1.7 miles at a 9:05 pace.

Second run, 2 miles at 8:36 pace.

Third run, 2 miles at 8:06 pace.

Fourth run, 2.3 miles at 8:35 pace.

Super pumped to be back doing anything at all. For reference, prior to injury, was low 6 min pace on runs under 3 miles. 7's for 3-5 miles. Look forward to working back to those times. Cheers!

6.5 at 8:45. In the rain. Love that. Back 4 felt really good. Can’t wait for fall race season

Forgot to mention. I always run in the road.

First time posting on this but I’m training for a small sprint tri at the end of august. I’m having the hardest time getting my pace down. I’m at a 9:10 for 2 miles on the road but can get down to a 8:40 treadmill for 2-3 miles. I’m 25 in shape but my heart rate is sky rocketing during the run. Any help?
