This shite sucks already and it’s only the beginning of April.

I had a good run yesterday evening (5.35 miles @ 7:23 pace). It was 84, but there's pretty much no humidity, so I can handle the temps. Once the humidity comes back, there will be no evening runs for me. I'll be drinking beer in the pool then.

Anyone using Strava or Garmin Connect know a way you can grab a period of time, preferably a week, and have either tell you what % of your running time was spent in each HR zone? I can see the breakdown by run, but would love to see the same for a week or month. My goal is to run each week according to a certain breakdown, but I'm not confident I'm hitting it. TIA.

Did 6.5 miles for a ladder style workout for speed this morning
400s: 6:14, 6:10
800s: 6:44, 6:48
1 mile: 6:46
Recovery jogs all around 8:30

Total Time:
50:48, pace 7:49/mile

HR was way too high for my comfort on that run

Got in a pretty good progression run last night.

Ended up finishing after dark. The bugs bothered me more than the heat. Got that nice shirt free run.

They used to always be around 9 min, but lately been around 8:30 as I have been doing 5k faster races I guess 8:30 is starting to be where I fall when I run by feel

About to do a heat acclimation run.

Conditions are currently 89 and 25 mph wind with a “unhealthy air quality for sensitive groups” warning.

Didn’t die. Kept it under 9 and took a couple of walk breaks when I was overheating.

Wasn’t the worst.

Got in 10 today for first time in over 5 years. Struggled a little and had to walk some.

Been running lately and thought I'd join you baws.

Started off running at the UREC with treadmills and indoor track and have now started running the LSU lakes 4 mile route over the past week. Running has easily been the most addictive form of workout I've done

I always enjoyed running the lakes. Been too long since I’ve ran them. Need to find a conference or something in BR soon, I guess.

I need to do something.

Everybody bringing us damn cookies and cakes with no exercise means I’m feeling a little heavy.

Not sure how the wife is going to feel if I go back to my 4:30 workout routine on Monday though.

There’s a reason I started running after my kids were old enough to wipe their own asses.

Well in a few months I can just bust out the BOB. I would regularly run 6 or 7 miles with my oldest in the BOB. She would sleep the entire time.

But newborn is just too small and then summer starts.

Lulz, that’s active recovery pace for those thoroughbred, while I was lucky to make it out alive.
