Pedro and I think another baw (I think usc6158?) is faster than me, HB and PHB and they don't live in Arkansas.

Easy progression 5k yesterday with my dog. 8:11 avg pace

Going to probably hit the Strawberry strut tomorrow and just try to run at CCC race pace and see how it feels

Hmmmm, doing the 5 or 10K? I’m assuming 5?

lol, Nah. His 1 race of a 5k led to 2 days of sore hips. He is still adjusting to the new heat. May try some trail 6 milers with him later this year.

Just the 5, going to just try to hold CCC goal pace and find some way to get comfortable enough that mentally I feel like I can hold it for 10k

Nice day of running gentlemen (And ladies.. Even if they don’t post)

I got 8ish miles on trails before a brutal storm rolled in.

Some friends are running “The Game” outside Austin today. You have an hour to run a 4.1 trail loop. End of the hour and they start another loop. If you’re not back or don’t drop a token you pick up from the far side of the loop before you start, you’re out. Sounds miserable.

I agree, jealous of everyone killing it today. No running today for me, but looking forward to perfect conditions for a long run tomorrow am after this weather rolls through. Skrength training today.

I’d love it. I can run a 9:30 pace with 20 minutes of rest on repeat I’m pretty sure.

My trail races are on hold till kid’s sports are over. I missed two I would have loved the last two weeks because of flag football... that got rained out.

I’ll hit you up on there before next weekend and get your # for the CCC.

Man the strawberry sprint has me intrigued, but I’ll prolly pass. Just gonna hit some easy miles in the am and then our neighborhood crawfish boil after. Gonna keep it pretty much easy all week prior to Saturday.

PHB put in a real good 50K looks like. Phew. I'm tired looking at it. 3000 elevation.
