One pair I was on an 8 mile trail run and got caught in a downpour. They got so saturated and heavy that they fell off mid run about mile 5. Waist band got stretched. I finished the run in my underwear.
At the cat talking about lululemon, every article of clothing I own would be from them if I could afford it.
Got some shorts coming in today will post pics.

it was trails on the mexican border down by mcallen. if anybody saw me they would have been illegals.
i really like New Balance shorts. even the longer inseam ones are really good for running.
i listen to podcasts and bible when running a lot so i really like to take my phone, and i need something with a tight pocked to eliminate bounce. if anybody knows of something that will strap that down, i'll buy 50 of them.
BRM, looks like i'm going to be running with a baw that moved from Temple to Rogers in the morning.

How is the sound quality? I’m looking for something completely wireless to run and bike in.

Right on. Doubt I know him. I should be better acquainted in the running community but I’m not. They probably all think I’m some quick homeless guy.

i'd give the sound a 7 or 8. maybe even a 9. i'm not an audiophile so i'm sure some people that love BOSE or something would have a critique on the bass or other feature i'm not cultured enough to know about. great noise cancellation. what's great is that if you're running you can just take one (the right ear one).
calls are pretty poor TBH. i'd give them a 5 or 6 for that, but better than other cheaper ones i've bought.

7/10 is good enough for me. Im just looking for something that is wireless and sounds good enough to enjoy music while exercising. I think I paid $15-$20 for my current earbuds but they connect to each other by a wire behind my neck. It is constantly getting caught on my shirt and tugging when I turn my head, especially when riding my bike.
Great reason for me to ignore phone calls while I’m exercising.
Does the piece that hangs down interfere at all? I’ve never worn this style earbud before.
I’ve been looking at this style ear bud, in a cheaper version, but am open to all options

Arkansas boys need the support. no need to have a bunch of bruises on the inside of their thighs running all the way down to their knees.

what about the armbands for phones?
Posted on 3/27/19 at 12:20 pm to gsadle5
jabra and jaybird both have that style. still going to be paying $100+
the hangdown has no issues. microphone is fine.
i did need call with it because i got them with work moneys. it's not that bad though. my boss said he'd pay for half of earpods and i said what if i find some that are good for half the price and he said cool.

i look gay enough as it is with the 5 in inseam. no need to complete the ensemble.
another gear related thing was that i opted for some goodr glasses instead of a shirt at my last race. i really like them. no frills, just no bounce, no sweat. got another few pairs because i tend to lose them so often.

Post injury, I am back to running fairly consistently and my training times are dropping. I was going to wait another month to race but there is a fast 5k that starts literally within a mile of my house and the course is alongside my neighborhood. Plus it is a good race with a nice medal, cool shirt and lots of good eats and drinks afterward. Could not resist the opportunity to race on my home course so I signed up. No way I will be able to place in my age group, based on historical times for this race, but I am hoping for top 5 if I can break 22:00.

Good to hear, man. I see you have been getting some action on Strava. What race is it?

Exactly. Do the right thing and join us in the 2" split shorts crew.

Bursting with Speed 5K.
I've been running a bit more than reflected on Strava, bc my watch has screwed up a few times. Think I have figured it out though. Yesterday I was flying through the first 2 miles of a 5 miler and was thinking about trying to average 8:00 per mile for the run, until I turned into the wind and miles 3 and 4 were more like 9:00 a mile.
Nobody wants to see 51 yr old legs in anything less than 7 inch inseams.

my heehaw may not hang down as much as some of our Arkansian brothers, but i can assure you it hangs down enough for a 2' inseam to be inappropriate.
