Still doing Kinobody workout. Moved to the Phase 1/2 workouts from the base workout, but actually thinking of diving into the Warrior workout soon. I've finally hit the mark where i can do 10-12 chin ups without assistance.
I can definitely tell that i'm getting stronger, but that i'm also starting to plateau. Struggling to get 6 reps with 95lbs dumbbells right now and my shoulder press has seemed to stopped increasing too. But Warrior workout drops the amount of sets from 3 to 2, why is that? And that lead to my issue.
My watch says i burn about 200-250 cals per workout. I feel good afterwards and i feel like i'm getting a decent workout but should be burning more calories. On Tues/Thurs i bike with a goal calorie of 450 calories (according to the program, anything more induces hunger, did i read that correctly?) Long story short, my waistline has been getting a little tighter the past few weeks. The only thing i've done differently is i started introducing a Muscle Milk protein shake daily. I do this at lunch to break my fast, and usually don't eat until my supper later in the evening. Are the muscle milks really causing this? The milk is the pro version which is only 200 calories/2.5 fat/3 net carbs/ and 40 protein.
I started doing this b/c i felt that i wasn't getting enough protein throughout the day and i wanted to start breaking my fast with protein/carbs instead of fat/carbs. Also, i felt it could hold me over throughout the day and i could just eat a bigger meal for supper while technically still doing a 16/8 fast.
TL;DR - pants getting tighter, introduced muscle milk. Is that the cause?

I think I see the problem. Kinobody says you can eat poptarts and still be lean. He can. You probably can't.

I'm not eating that crap.
I keep my calories to about 1550-1700/day.

Demonstrably false. Fit them into your allotted daily intake and you can be lean. Jordan Syatt just finished a 30-day Big Mac challenge where he ate a big mac every single day and lost 7 or 8 pounds in a month.
As for OP's exercise woes.. sorry, not much help there. You should consider Kinobody's nutrition programming as well, it's pretty solid.

I misworded. You can you're right. But You get out of your body what you put in. If you put crap in, your body will not run as well as it can.

I think it depends on what percentage of your diet is comprised of whole foods vs stuff like poptarts
Unless you're a high level athlete having a diet that still incorporates 10-20% of "junk" food that is accounted for will still leave you performing just fine. Obviously high level athletes have different standards.

Despite what you are eating, if you are keeping calories this low and working out, you should be shedding weight (unless you are already pretty slim)

Don’t you weigh like 250 and need to lose more? Not the best look to advise people to eat Big Macs, just saying

Both you and the pop tart king should prolly STFU considering everything hulk said is the truth.
A) if you eating in a deficit and getting plenty of protein, then a pop tart is not going to hurt you what's so ever. In fact it would be a decent post workout snack
B) hulk never said to eat a pop tart or a big Mac, he said that you can fit them in your macros and be fine. And guess what he is right.
Just because you and Mr pop tart don't understand nutrition science doesn't mean other don't. And hulk has come a long ways and prolly lost more weight than you ever did.
Can't have pop tarts?? Dude do you even iifym? Rocket needs to come in here and school your arse.

The maddest I made my trainer was when I showed him I could work a footlong corndog and a couple of fried oreos from the fair into my macros.
I think he almost cried.

Sure, if you ignore the 120 pounds I've lost while fighting thyroid complications and the countless hours of reading and learning, I'm just a 250lb idiot trying to help people.

I do IF and have either cereal with dextrose or pop tart as post workout carbs......I find IF a great way to stay lean and eat basically what I want. I’m probably in the best shape I’ve ever been in. Been doing IF for almost 18 months.

I haven't been following the kinobody macros. Just the macros that i've used in the past. Probably the main driver behind it all but i also realized that i've slipped on my ACV intake which i find helps cut bloating. As of this morning, i was 182 lbs.
Not sure what stats you're looking for. but i'm 5'7, work an office gig but in the gym 5 days a week. Kinobody M/W/F, cardio Tue/Thurs.

I wish. but i do like IF, i'm not a breakfast type of person and i feel like my body responds better to a fasted workout.

Well what macros are you following?
Posted on 11/14/19 at 12:52 pm to Black
Don't break your fast with a protein shake. Could spike your insulin levels and knock you out of ketosis. Eat clean. Leafy veggies like spinach, kale, etc to break your fast.

just whatever i put into MyFitPal and it spit out. Probably can use adjustment.
I looked at leangains macro calculator but wasn't sure what to put now that i've been working out for almost a year. Do i still qualify as sedentary? light activity? And i don't remember what, but either the carbs or fats seemed high (i know i could adjust them, but wasn't sure to what)

Not doing keto
Also, I'll admit to not knowing how to properly fuel my body.
Since I IF and schedule looks like so:
M/W/F - 4 a.m. lifting
Tues/Thurs - 4 a.m. cardio
All while in a fasted state
Do i want carbs the night before my lifts? Do i want them the day of for fuel for the cardio days? Or do i want them the day of cardio since i already burned 450 calories that morning? I'm limiting the amount of carb intake but i want to use them correctly when i do have them
