I've been doing 10mg boron for a week and haven't noticed anything. I might go to 15mg in a week if there are still no changes.
It was the first night for me but its quite possible I was just very deficient. I started at 10

I'm on week 3 and I jumped up to 6mg yesterday. My workout was much better yesterday, but I think it was because I was aggravated from a shitty morning of work

The GOAT H&F thread is the "Viagra/Cialis/Levitra Users" mega-thread that went on for like 150 pages. Actually, I don't know if that is an OT thread or an H&F thread, it may have been born on the OT and moved to H&F, but it was comedy gold. Boners get the eyeballs baby.
ha I need to give this a read

Dude posted on the OT about turning 30 and feeling humbled by not being as physically capable as he used to be.
He's gettin' worked over...hope he discovers this place and it helps him figure some stuff out.
I laughed at that too. 44 year old me would wreck 30 year old me.

I'm much stronger and in better shape now at 34 than I was in my 20s. Looking forward to seeing what the 40s have to offer.

30 year old me would run circles around 40 year old me. But 40 year old me would outlift 30 year old me.

Running is not my thing. Ever really was either

I'm just glad I've not given up completely...ever, despite there being times in my life where it probably looked like I completely gave up on my health. I've changed modes and methods, had lay-offs that seem to never end and then left me feeling like I'm perpetually "getting back into shape" or "re-starting" whatever. When I look back on my life and I see that, I see that I was always struggling and trying my best, with different levels of results.
With age and more experience I'm able to see the things I did well, or "right", and why. I can see the opposite as well. I've been continually learning though, and that pays off more than anything, it's not a big challenge, nor is it hard work. I'm just curious and I am always reading/watching/listening to things and adding valuable nuggets to my pile of "shite I know." My 45 year old mind/psyche/emotional state, whatever you want to call it, is better now than ever, and it's continuously improving, and that should continue for a long time. It should for anyone and everyone. I'm definitely no genius, just doing the best with what I got, until I'm dead.
It's hard to keep the body in tip top shape, but if your knowledge never stops growing and your ability to make use of that knowledge improves as well, then you can make up for the inevitable gradual decline in physical performance....up to a point. (But I think most people would be surprised with what they could accomplish as an older person who may not be that physically capable anymore, but is waaaay smarter about how they go about doing life.)
I worry less about being stronger/faster/etc. right now as compared to younger me. Instead, I worry about being wiser, smarter, more patient, capable of better judgement, making better decisions, improved time management, all that stuff.

Bumpin' this thread to once again express my gratitude that the TD H&F board exists and is so awesome. There's been some great threads in the OT lately, and by "great" I mean threads that make one appreciate that the Health & Fitness board is here so a person can have a legitimate discussion with mostly good folks about the relevant topics without having to deal with too much(if any) unnecessary bullshite.
Don't ever change OT!
(on the other hand, please do change OT....change back to being one of the funniest places on the internet instead of being a vile crap-dump for miserable people)

This board really is awesome. I read a lot more than I post. I am highly encouraged when I see people coming here really looking to turn their health around because they get excellent advice every time. Somehow we avoid the trolling and shitposting here which is always nice as well

Thanks to this board I found PPSA. My workout partner and I have loved it. Did Pool Season 2 and are halfway through on Filling up the Hoodie now

I have no idea who I saw on here who suggested Boron...but it works for me

It's by far the most positive board on the site.

At 53 I think some people just have a drive to keep pushing….i don’t have the same level of drive as some people ….but it’s there. I’m bored with work but am totally focused on my workouts and monthly Inbody scans.
I love this Board.
