She's a young lady. She wants to watch females do routines.

On rings vs TRX, there are some guys here who love rings. I've always sort of preferred TRX, but it's due to what I like.
The big advantage with rings is they're separately mounted instead of the Y shape with the TRX. I think this makes dips and chest flys easier. The Y shape of the TRX, your hands have a tendency to drift toward each other.
On the flip side, I think it's easier to do stuff with your feet in the TRX stirrups vs in rings. Some of this may be foot size, and I assume your daughter isn't size 12 1/2 like I am, but it's hard for me to get feet in rings. Some of the best TRX stuff, particularly for abs/core are movements with feet in the rings.
I also like that the TRX can be easily door mounted. It's very portable in a way I think is harder to get with rings.
That's just my 2 cents, no disrespect to team rings. I'll fully say dips and gymnastic movements, rings have an advantage, but I don't use those enough to outweigh what I like about the TRX.

I only like rings because you can do more on them.
Some movements are better on TRX due to the single anchor point. Rows are a perfect example, shoulder "Y's" etc. Essentially any movement that you pull the handles apart are better with TRX suspension systems that are single anchor point.
Exercises where you pull in, like pushups, flyers etc are better on the rings imo due to the individual anchor points.
Rings are more versatile as you can do chins and dips effectively on top of all the gymnastics movements. Plus you can do ring turn outs on most exercises to make them harder.

But she also likes to wear the type of work out clothes guys drool over like short tight shorts and yoga pants to workout in.
Probably why she wants to start working out, TBH. The body type that’s trendy these days requires some pretty strict workout commitments.
Good on her! My high school years were when the anorexic celebs were all the rage so I didn’t know a single female who would have wanted to work out.
Hopefully she will fall in love with it and be into fitness for many years to come

Put her in powerlifting at her school if she has one

My daughter has a pull up bar that easily latches into her doorway. A kettle ball or two and some dumb bells and you can do a good workout

My daughter has been lifting since her sophomore year through college for track. Dick's had a 300lb set with a nice Olympic bar by Fitness Gear for about $180. Not sure if they still sell it, but that's what we have. I combined that with a rack off Amazon by Fitness Reality for $300 and some horse stall mats from Tractor Supply. It's a pretty good set-up for less than $600.
It's a nice budget set, but I would never skimp on the bar.

I'm running a program that got over 20 signups in a few days for an 8 week at home program that only requires dumbbells and kettlebells, people have had great results thusfar, let me know if you want me to send it to you!
