I saw somewhere that they tested all these brands and the calories were way off of what they claimed

that's not surprising. i've seen so many facially inaccurate nutritional "fact" labels it's scary. Like, where the carb break down simply doesn't add up. i'm still undecided on the overall effects of sugar alcohols too, despite their low GI. seem too good to be true.

Where do you buy the Breyers? I can never find it.

I’ve gotten it from Winn Dixie and rite aid by my house in NOLA

Kinda splitting hairs on crappy tasting “healthy” ice cream, huh?

Two places I haven't checked. Thanks I did pick up some Enlightened a couple of months ago at WD. My first impression was it was better than Halo Top. A couple of more bites and it started tasting artificial. I'll try Beyers.

Probably. With that stuff, I just moderate, and it's a treat instead of a staple. But at least neither has sucralose. Trying to avoid that altogether.

The calorie counts typically don't include calories that are sugar alcohols or fiber. So if you add up the fats, proteins, and carbs, it comes out to more than the label shows.. it is frustrating for a flexible dieter, but you mostly just have to remember that when tracking it.
