I'm sorry you feel that way. I hope you take to the advice you've been getting here and talk to someone.

The thing about feelings is that they change. Just because you feel this way today doesn't mean you'll continue to feel this way in the future.

Just understand that everybody posting with you in this thread hopes you take the time to talk with a professional so you can move past these feelings and start enjoying life again.

Glad to hear that. You stuck with me all day yesterday and this morning for some reason. I'm doing good. Wish it was colder here.

That's because I like you. I don't have many friends on this board and I am new here. Started in 2019.

There’s always a reason to live until the Lord calls us home.

The more I watched this, the more purpose and direction I now had in my life. Everything in life became clear and strangely, everything started to fall in line.

Hey bud, the human body was made to withstand almost anything, it’s your mind you have to convince. Basically, you’re mentally and emotionally stronger than you think. The world and the country are going to be here regardless of if you are or not. So get yourself right and then let the rest of the pieces fall into place. Of course, find a great therapist as well. It helps tremendously and you’ll feel much much better. Best of luck baw

I feel you, man. I have plenty to live for but I'm just tired of it all and want out. What I have to live for is the only thing still keeping me in it, along with a healthy fear that hell is a real thing.

I'm 37, and life is a trudge that I'm just trying to get through another 40 or so years of till God let's me out.

You'll find your motivation, just don't expect it to be happy or thrilling.

Can’t be any worse than living this torturous life. I don’t believe in any afterlife. I just want to disappear forever.

That’s a permanent solution to a temporary problem. When I see someone killed themselves, especially a young person, I think what their 70 year old self would say if they could talk to them. I know when you’re in the middle of it it’s bad but there will come a time when you get through the storm.

It's pretty important that people realize the duality of happiness. You really can't feel happy unless you can feel sad. People can't get out of that loop of thinking they have nothing or what have you. But you can look at super rich people like Bezos and realize all he does it work. He has a shite ton of money and still works a ton. It is never enough!

And it's ok to realize that maybe we haven't succeeded in life like we thought we would. And that's ok. Not everyone gets to be the hero in life. But that doesn't mean that you can't start over or that you aren't an important part. We can have the greatest military, but they aren't doing anything if we don't have someone growing their food. No one would know Alexander the Great if his soldiers and baggage train did not come along.

It only takes a moment to change course, to change your destiny. Only you gets to decide if you are happy or sad.

Noggin I hope that today was better.

I’m mother of three adult children and summerer of 2020 I lost my shite. I was yelling about taking me out back and then just shooting me — to my second son and my husband.

I knew at that point I needed help — I had already driven by our docs office and considered stopping but didn’t.

My meltdown was the turnaround — I told him I was losing it and just wasn’t handling anything well at all.

Some here told me to not take meds but they helped. Tremendously.

Now I’m trying to be brave enough to find someone to talk to and leave the meds behind.

God bless. You do matter no matter what you may think or feel.
