Please also get a psychologist that can prescribe medicine and figure if you have a chemical imbalance. There are several good drugs that can work wonders, but you need the right diagnosis and therapist. We we get physically sick, we take antibiotics and other meds, same thing you need to do for your mental state.

Well, if you're unfortunate enough to be dragged into a wood chipper, I'd say it's a pretty damn horribly painful way to die.
If, on the other hand, you go to bed, fall asleep next to your spouse and they wake up the next morning and you don't, then it's obviously a much more peaceful death----especially if you don't even cause them to stir while passing on.
I can think of many horrible, painful ways to die, be it by accident or violence.

I am doing good thanks. How are you tonight? Did you have a good Christmas and New Year?

Pretty good. It gets crazy and I’ll be happy to get back into a routine though. Let’s have a good year.

Yes definitely let's have a good year. I am glad 2021 is over with. I am hoping I can stay awake tomorrow night to watch the bowl game. Are you going to watch the game?

Also the thing that helps most people is to just join a group of people. It turns out isolation is crushing to most people. So go join a group and get better!
This is crucial. I’ve let some of this get away these last few months and getting back to my hermit ways. I have to get back engaged with a church or recovery program. Now!

I’ll be watching. Basketball should be fun to follow also.

Hey Noggin - i found myself in a similar place about a year ago. The main change i made was to get outdoors and exercise. It helps clear the mind and puts things in perspective.
Another thing i would suggest is to volunteer if you have time to do so. Soup kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, etc. It does wonders for the soul to help others in their time of need.
Cheers
