I have a partial rotator cuff tear. Do bicep curls put a strain on that tendon?

Why don’t you start from the beginning

Everyone is different. Listen to your body.

Maybe. Get some workout rubber bands to do simple safe shoulder exercises.

Biceps are not part of the rotator cuff. Contraction of the biceps causes elbow flexion. It does not move the shoulder.

Which tendon in the rotator cuff? There are 4. 2 anterior and 2 posterior. Subscapularis is anterior. The long head of the biceps tendon runs directly underneath it. Drop the free weights man and google resistance band workouts. Work legs until that shite heals properly, Trust me. I went to free weights too soon and fricked it up even more
Easy way to see If its subscapularis is the belly press test. Or tuck your shirt in from the back.
