Tom Brady does nor have the body of an NFL player. It’s really funny. He looks more like an English teacher than a quarterback. But, 5 super bowl rings and a Brazilian model for a wife speaks for itself.

I’m just hoping all the people that get them for Christmas will be ready to part with their clothes rack for a cheap price this summer.

Don't be part of the pelotón, be the líder.

That really depends on your preference. If you like CrossFit style workouts in your garage/ home, the concept 2 and assault bike are great compliments. If you can only have one machine only (no rack, dumbbells, barbell, weights, sandbags) then a Pelaton is probably the best choice. It will get you to work out in a class environment from home, push you, and it will switch up the workouts. The other two can be used in conjunction with other home equipment to complete WOD’s and thus also introduce variety into your workouts. But if you don’t have the other stuff that will add to your workouts, there is no way the rower/bike will keep you as engaged as the Peloton on a stand alone basis. For what it’s worth, I have a Comcept II and love it, but I use it with my other equipment. I would hate it if all I did was Row every day. I hope this is helpful/makes sense.

You do realize they have several top cycling pros that teach classes as well?

how is it marketing hype? It offers spin classes at home. Spin is a really popular activity. People who do it usually have no desire to be a bike racers.

God I swear some of y'all live a miserable exsistence.

Overall question. My wife and I are looking at a Peleton. Both of us in our 50’s. No way do I want to drop that kind of money on something I won’t use.
Do they have beginner classes? I am guessing not everyone who gets these jumps on for a 45 minute ride at top speeds. Thanks

Yes they have lots of beginner classes. They have classes for all different levels. You can always do low impact classes as well if you have to scale back. Those are the classes I take right now due to some medical restrictions.

And different lengths as well. Some as short as 10 minutes.

One woman in one of the Peloton fb groups mentioned encouraging her father (who lives with her) to use the bike. Man is in his 70s and has had a few heart surgeries. She figured maybe she can convince him to use the bike occasionally to build up his strength.

Now she can’t get him off the bike he loves it so much. She will check his profile and fuss at him if she sees he did a ride that was maybe too much for him.

The bike is addictive....you will see

ETA: Do a trial of the app and you can see the types of classes they offer.

Nurse don’t bother. Only people on this board could criticize a mode of exercise

My suggestion is do like many others have done, get a cheap spin bike and just do the app with an iPad for like 6-8 weeks and see if you like it before dropping coin like that.

Yes, thank you. I have a rack, DB, bar, weights, sandbag, etc)

Then, what are the major differences between concept 2 rower and Nordic track rower?

concept 2 will hold its value much better, last much longer and has a proven track record behind it. It also has a full community to compare times too.

second best rower would be xebex.

He looks like most QBs. He certainly looks like an nfl player in real life. He’s about 6’5”. He’s leaner now than in those pics imo
